We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting your family before the Lord with urgency and authority, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the powers of darkness. Your request is deeply aligned with Scripture, and we join you in declaring the victory of Christ over every demonic stronghold in your family’s life.
The Bible is clear about the dangers of witchcraft and the occult. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, one who interprets omens, one who is a sorcerer, one who charms, one who consults a familiar spirit, one who is a wizard, or one who calls on the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* Your cousin and his wife have opened themselves to demonic influence, but we serve a God who is greater than any darkness. The blood of Jesus is our protection, and His name is our authority.
We declare Psalm 91 over your family: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday."* No weapon formed against your family will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against you in judgment will be condemned.
Yet, while we pray for protection, we must also pray for their salvation. Your cousin and his wife are ensnared by the enemy, but Jesus came to set captives free. We plead for their eyes to be opened to the truth of the Gospel, that they may repent and turn to Christ. Acts 26:18 reminds us that God sends us *"to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me."* Pray that the Holy Spirit convicts their hearts and that they encounter the living God in a way that shatters their bondage.
We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and fasting, as Jesus taught that some demons are only cast out by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). Gather your family in unity, covering your home with the Word of God, worship, and the declaration of Christ’s lordship. Ephesians 6:12-18 instructs us to put on the whole armor of God, standing firm in truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God. Pray without ceasing, and watch as the Lord moves mightily on your behalf.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring Your sovereignty over this family and every demonic assignment against them. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over every member of this household, sealing them from the schemes of the enemy. We bind every spirit of witchcraft, divination, and darkness operating through [###] and his wife, and we command these spirits to be silenced and cast out in Jesus’ name. Father, expose every hidden work of the enemy and bring it to nothing. Let no weapon formed against this family prosper, and let every tongue that rises in accusation be condemned.
We also lift up [###] and his wife before You, Lord. Break the chains of deception that bind them. Send Your Holy Spirit to convict their hearts and draw them to repentance. Let them encounter Your love in a way that shatters their allegiance to darkness. Father, save them and restore them to Your kingdom, that they may become trophies of Your grace.
Strengthen this family, Lord, in their faith and unity. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let them walk in the authority of Christ, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Give them discernment, wisdom, and boldness to stand firm in prayer and fasting until victory is secured.
We thank You, Father, for Your protection, Your deliverance, and Your salvation. We trust in Your promises and declare that this family is covered by Your mighty hand. In Jesus’ powerful name, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear brother or sister. The Lord is your refuge, and He will not fail you. Keep praying, keep believing, and watch as God moves in ways beyond what you can ask or imagine. If there is any opportunity to share the Gospel with your cousin or his wife, do so with love and boldness, trusting the Holy Spirit to work through you. We are with you in this fight, and together, we will see the victory of Christ.
