Hello,
My name is An and I work at a hospital. I work hard each day and treat everyone with kindness and respect. Each day I ask the Lord to give me wisdom and help me do His will. I'm a peacemaker; therefore I would not intentionally create or be part of any activity that results in harm to others.
My new boss, Sarah, likes to be in control and to be popular. She also encourages and rewards staff who reports to her about everything and everyone. Because I am not comfortable in doing this and I have respectfully declined to be part of group activities that would create this, I am not a favourite with Sarah and this group. That is ok with me because it gives me joy to know that I'm the Lord's child.
Unfortunately, I have now becomed a target with my boss and this team. In fact, Sarah has becoming increasingly bold and begun to discredit the hard work I do. She would take things out of context and now speak untruth concerning me. She also written me up and sent it to HR of the poor performance that she and this group indicated that they observed.
I have been with this organization for 6 years and up until now my performance has always been above standard.
I have only one prayer request. Please pray that the Lord will be my advocate and vindicate me. I tried to talk to Sarah but she wrote me up that I did not take responsibility when she talked to me about my performance. She is a very intelligent and assertive woman. She indicates to others that she is very proud about the fact that she does not let others push her around. Unfortunately, she has now told other staff to "push back" if I come to them about certain requests which I have to from time to time because we work as a team and our work affect one another's work.
I have been praying but I think it's time I ask others to pray for me as well. I'll continue to work hard and treat people with understanding and respect. I just need to know that the Lord will defend me and vindicate me. Please pray that He will. Please pray that He'll be my advocate as I obey Him in always taking the high road.
Thank you so much for your time and prayers. I really appreciate it.
God bless you all.
