We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your wife and her health concerns. Father God, we ask that You would touch her body with Your healing hand. We pray that her kidney numbers would be within a healthy range and that there would be no need for dialysis. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over her life, Lord.
We also pray for her upcoming procedure to remove the stent and the gallstone. We ask that You would guide the hands of the surgeons and medical staff, giving them wisdom and skill. We pray that the gallstone would indeed be broken down and able to be removed, bringing relief and healing to her body. Psalm 30:2 says, "Yahweh my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me." We cry out to You now, trusting in Your healing power.
We also want to encourage you both to continue seeking the Lord in this time. James 5:14-15 says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Consider reaching out to your church elders for prayer and anointing, standing together in faith.
We stand with you in prayer, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). We pray for peace and comfort for you both during this time, trusting in the Lord's perfect plan and timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
