We lift up the situation at ### in ###, where there is tension between the security staff and management. Father ###’s shelter is a place of refuge and compassion, and it grieves our hearts to see discord where unity should reign. The Bible tells us in Colossians 3:15, *"And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful."* Peace is not merely the absence of conflict but the presence of Christ’s harmony among His people.
We rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or misunderstanding that may be at work in this situation. In James 3:16, we are warned, *"For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed."* We pray that pride, selfishness, or ungodly attitudes would be broken and replaced with humility, patience, and a willingness to seek reconciliation. Management and staff must remember that they are called to serve together, not against one another, as Ephesians 4:3 urges us: *"Being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."*
We also pray for wisdom for those in leadership. Proverbs 11:14 reminds us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* May those in authority seek godly counsel, listen with compassion, and lead with integrity. For the security staff, we ask that they would operate with professionalism, respect, and a heart to serve rather than to contend. Let their actions reflect the love of Christ, even in difficult circumstances.
Father, we ask You to intervene miraculously on December 9, 2025, as this date approaches. Soften hearts, open lines of communication, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of everyone involved (Philippians 4:7). May this shelter be a place where Your love is evident, where the vulnerable are cared for, and where those who serve do so with joy and unity.
We pray that any hidden agendas, bitterness, or unforgiveness would be brought to light and dealt with in Your presence. Help them to forgive one another as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). Let this conflict be turned into an opportunity for growth, stronger relationships, and a deeper reliance on You.
Lord, we declare that Your will be done in this situation. May Your name be glorified, and may those who witness this peace recognize that it is Your hand at work. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace, who alone can bring true reconciliation. Amen.
