We join you in lifting up your loved one who is recovering from pancreatitis and we bring this need before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus name.
We know how difficult recovery from pancreatitis can be and how discouraging it is when eating and drinking are a struggle. We pray for gentle healing of the pancreas and surrounding organs, for the ability to take in more nourishment and fluids without pain or nausea, and for wisdom and faithfulness in following the medical care that God has provided. We ask God to give strength day by day and to restore what has been weakened through illness. We are reminded that He is the One who heals us, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3 and that He has promised But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the promise in Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We pray that compliance with medication and all instructions will be steady and that the body will respond well, regaining strength and energy, for the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up in James 5:15. We also remember 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.
Heavenly Father we come before You in the name of Jesus and ask for Your healing hand upon this dear one. We ask that You calm inflammation, ease pain, and allow food and fluids to be received and to nourish the body. Give grace to be compliant with medication and treatment, guard against complications, and restore strength and vitality according to Your will. Grant peace to the family and caregivers, and let Your comfort be felt in this waiting season. Help all involved to cast their anxiety on You, for in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God in Philippians 4:6. We trust Your goodness and Your timing and we ask all this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. We join you in bringing your loved one before the throne of grace in this time of affliction, and we will pray that the Lord who is the Physician of both body and soul will lay His healing hand upon them.
Physical strength is a great blessing from God, and it is right to ask Him to restore it. All strength of every sort comes from Him, and He is the glory of our strength. Apart from Him our strength is but derived and soon fails, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. We will pray that your loved one may know that renewing, as they look to Him day by day.
We ask the Lord to grant a good recovery from this pancreatitis, that appetite may return and that they may be able to take food and fluids again for nourishment and healing. We ask that He will give grace for compliance in taking medication as prescribed, using the means He has provided, and that strength may return little by little. Wonder not if recovery should be slow, for often the Lord restores us gradually, and each increase of strength is a new reason to give Him praise and to acknowledge that He has a fresh claim upon our affection.
Above all we pray that in this weakness your loved one may find strength in the Lord. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. When our own strength fails, our strength is to sit still and let God be our arm.
