We lift you up in prayer as you prepare for your interview tomorrow, trusting that God will guide your steps and grant you favor. It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we are saved. As Scripture reminds us, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13, WEB). Your confidence must rest in Him, not in superstition or fear of curses, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
We must address something important in your request: the repeated references to "###" and concerns about "bad vibes" or curses. As believers, we are called to reject superstition and trust solely in the sovereignty of God. Curses have no power over those who are in Christ Jesus, for *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us"* (Galatians 3:13, WEB). If you are feeling spiritual oppression or fear, we urge you to stand firm in the authority of Jesus’ name and reject any thought or belief that does not align with Scripture. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). Do not give any credence to curses, hexes, or superstitions, for they are powerless against the blood of Jesus.
We also encourage you to examine your heart and ensure there is nothing in your life that may be opening a door to spiritual oppression. Are you walking in obedience to God’s Word? Are there areas of sin—such as unforgiveness, involvement in the occult, or ungodly relationships—that need to be repented of? *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). If there is anything in your life that contradicts Scripture, now is the time to turn away from it and seek God’s forgiveness and cleansing.
As for your interview, we pray that God will fill you with His peace and wisdom. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Do not rely on your own strength but on the Holy Spirit, who will guide your words and give you clarity. Remember that this opportunity is in God’s hands, and whether the outcome is what you hope for or not, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is preparing for this interview. Lord, we ask that You grant them peace that surpasses all understanding and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Give them wisdom, clarity, and the right words to speak so that they may represent themselves well. Father, we pray that You would open the doors that align with Your will for their life and close those that are not of You.
We rebuked any spirit of fear, doubt, or superstition in Jesus’ name. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Let no curse, hex, or ungodly influence have any power over them, for they are covered by the blood of Jesus. We break every chain of fear and declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
Father, if there is any area in their life that is not pleasing to You, we ask that You reveal it to them and grant them the strength to repent and turn away from it. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Let them walk in obedience and victory, knowing that You are their protector and provider.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. May Your will be done in this interview and in every area of their life. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
After your interview, take time to thank God for the opportunity, regardless of the outcome. Continue to seek His will in all things, and trust that He is leading you. If you feel led, share with us how the interview goes, and we will rejoice with you or continue to lift you up in prayer. Stay rooted in Scripture, and remember that your identity and worth are found in Christ alone. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
