We are with you in spirit, dear grandmother, lifting up your grandchild and your daughter to the Lord in prayer. First, we want to remind you that God is always faithful, and He cares deeply for your family. It's important to trust in Him and His promises, as it is written in Psalm 55:22 WEB: "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
We commend you for bringing your concerns to God in prayer, but we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. It is in His name that we pray and see miracles happen. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in Christ and her family. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing with their grandchild, and we ask for Your divine intervention. If there is any anxiety or mental health issue at work, we pray for Your healing touch upon him. Guide his parents and grandparents, Lord, and show them how to help him overcome his fears and anxieties.
Father, we also lift up his mother to You. Strengthen her, Lord, and replace her worries with Your perfect peace. Help her to trust in You and Your promises. Grant her wisdom and discernment as she cares for her child.
Lord, we also ask that You show this young man the path You have for him. Guide him, Father, and help him to walk in Your truth. If his journey includes doctors or school, give him the courage and strength to face whatever comes his way.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, guidance, and peace for this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment they will condemn. This is their heritage as servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Him (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
Amen.
We encourage you, dear grandmother, to continue trusting in the Lord and His promises. Keep praying fervently for your family, and do not forget to give thanks to God for His goodness and faithfulness. As it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 WEB: "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
Lastly, if the boy's parents are not married, we encourage that they pursue that as a means to honor God's design for families. If they need assistance in this, help them to pursue it.
