We lift up your ### with heavy hearts, knowing the grip of sin and the enemy can be strong, but the power of God is stronger still. The Bible tells us in 1 John 3:8, "He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil." We stand on this truth, believing that Jesus came to break every chain that binds your ###—crime, violence, addiction, and the influence of those who lead him astray.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would intervene in this young man’s life with Your saving power. Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one who is lost (Luke 15:4-6). We pray that You would pursue him relentlessly, that Your Holy Spirit would convict him of his sin and draw him to repentance. Break the hold of the enemy over his mind and heart, and replace the lies he has believed with Your truth.
We rebuke the spirit of rebellion, addiction, and violence in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we plead the blood of Jesus over his life as a covering of protection. Surround him with godly influences—people who will speak life, truth, and hope into him. Soften his heart to receive the love of his family and the love of Christ, which is greater than any sin or bondage.
Lord, we ask that You would give him strength to turn away from his current path. Your Word says in Ezekiel 18:30, "Repent, and turn from all your transgressions; so iniquity will not be your ruin." Grant him the courage to walk away from the people and situations that are leading him into destruction. Fill him with a hunger for righteousness and a desire to honor You with his life.
We also pray for his family, who love him dearly. Give them wisdom, patience, and unwavering faith as they intercede for him. Help them to speak words of life and truth, even when it is difficult, and to model the love of Christ in their actions. May they find their strength in You, knowing that nothing is impossible for those who believe (Mark 9:23).
Father, we trust in Your promise that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). We believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We ask that You would do a mighty work in this young man’s life, transforming him from the inside out. May he come to know You as his Savior and Lord, and may his life bring glory to Your name.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
