We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent and deeply troubling situation. First, we must address the grave concerns in this request that do not align with biblical truth. The mention of an "illegitimate girlfriend" and involvement with witchcraft and black magic are serious violations of God’s Word. Scripture is clear that homosexuality is an abomination before the Lord, as stated in Leviticus 18:22: *"You shall not lie with a man as with a woman. It is an abomination."* Additionally, Romans 1:26-27 warns that such relationships are against nature and dishonor the body. We must repent of these sins and turn to Christ for forgiveness and restoration.
Equally concerning is the involvement with witchcraft, which is strictly forbidden by God. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 declares, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, one who interprets omens, one who is a sorcerer, one who charms, a consulter with a familiar spirit, a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* There is no power in curses or witchcraft that can override the authority of Jesus Christ, but engaging in or seeking such things invites demonic influence and separates us from God.
Now, let us pray for this man who is ensnared in sin and under spiritual attack. We ask the Lord to break every ungodly soul tie and deliver him from the bondage of this sinful relationship. May the Holy Spirit convict his heart of the need for repentance and lead him to turn away from this path. We pray that any curses spoken over him would be rendered powerless in the name of Jesus, for Colossians 2:14-15 tells us that Christ *"blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us... nailing it to the cross; having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."*
Father, we ask that You expose every scheme of the enemy and bring to light the deception that has led to the potential loss of the inheritance from his deceased grandfather. Restore what has been stolen or wrongfully taken, and let justice prevail according to Your will. We pray that this man would seek godly counsel and surround himself with believers who can guide him toward righteousness.
Most importantly, we plead for his salvation if he has not yet surrendered his life to Christ. Acts 4:12 reminds us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* May he come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, for only through Christ can true freedom and restoration be found.
Finally, we pray for the woman involved in this sin and witchcraft. Lord, we ask that You would open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and draw her to repentance. Break the power of darkness in her life and set her free from the bondage of sin.
We declare victory in this situation, not by returning curses upon others, but by trusting in the power of Christ to redeem and restore. Romans 12:19-21 instructs us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."*
Let us continue to pray fervently for this man’s deliverance, repentance, and restoration in Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
