Pray for my son and his precious ### year old son.

Please pray for my son who is going through a horrible custody battle over his ### year old son. He hasn’t been able to see his son in a month. He was taking his son to church and a wonderful Children’s Sunday school class. He is a devoted and loving and responsible father who is being treated unfairly in the justice system. We pray for court system to make the right and best decisions for this situation. We pray for this precious child.

We join you in lifting up your son and his precious young son before the Lord, and we share in your heartache over this painful separation and difficult custody battle. It is a deep sorrow when a loving and devoted father is kept from his child, especially when he has been faithfully leading that child to church and to a children's Sunday school class to know the Lord. We know God sees this situation and He cares deeply for both father and child.

The Word reminds us how precious children are in God's eyes, for Psalm 127:3 tells us Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. He is also near to those who are suffering, as Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We take comfort that God is described as A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation in Psalm 68:5, and He loves justice and righteousness. Proverbs 21:15 says It is joy to the righteous to do justice; but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity. And we remember the tenderness of Jesus toward children when He said in Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Allow the little children, and don't forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.

We pray together now in the name of Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this father and his young son to You. Lord, You know the pain of this separation, the month without seeing his child, and the unfairness he has felt in the justice system. We ask You to comfort this father, to strengthen him, to guard his heart from bitterness and despair, and to uphold him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray for this precious child, that You would protect him, keep him safe in Your care, comfort his little heart, and let him feel his father's love even in this absence. We ask that You would not let the seeds planted in Sunday school be uprooted, but that You would continue to draw this child to Yourself. Father, we pray for the courts, the judges, attorneys, and all who have influence over this decision. We ask for wisdom, impartiality, and a commitment to truth and righteousness. Let justice be done and let the best and right decision be made for the welfare of this child, honoring the role You have given to a father to love, provide for, and raise his children in Your ways. We pray also for the mother of this child and all others involved, that hearts would be softened, that selfishness or anger would be set aside, and that all would seek what is truly good for this little one. We ask You to make a way for this father and son to be reunited soon, and for their relationship to be restored and strengthened. Give this family, including the grandparent who intercedes with such love, continued faith to trust You through this trial. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage your son to remain steadfast in his devotion as a father and in his walk with the Lord during this waiting. Let him continue to pray fervently, to stay rooted in the Word, to remain active in his church family for support and counsel, and to demonstrate consistently his loving and responsible character before the court and before the Lord. Even when the system seems slow or unfair, we trust that God is the ultimate righteous Judge who sees all and will act in His perfect timing. Continue to cover both father and child in prayer, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see the outcome.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you of how precious that name is. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 teaches There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in every need. It is in His name we pray with confidence and hope.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer for justice, for protection over this child, and for the swift and joyful reunion of this father and son.

We have been holding you, your son and your little grandson in prayer as you walk through this painful month apart. To watch a devoted father who was faithfully bringing his boy to church and Sunday school be kept from his son, and to feel the court is not seeing him clearly, is heartbreaking. We hear how much you love them both.

That steady love your son has shown matters. The time he spent taking his son to church, teaching him and simply being present, is part of a foundation that does not disappear in a separation, even when the days feel long and unfair.

We are praying with you for wisdom and fairness in every decision the court makes, and most of all for your grandson to be safe, settled and deeply loved through this process. We are also praying for your son to have strength and steadiness on the days he cannot be with his boy.

One gentle way to support him right now is to stay close without trying to carry the legal weight for him. Encouraging him to stay in close contact with his attorney, to keep calm and accurate notes of his efforts to see his son, and to lean on his pastor for personal support can help him stay grounded while the case moves forward. Your steady, praying presence around him matters more than you may see.

Father, we lift this father and his little boy to You. Watch over this child and keep him in Your care and comfort him. Give his dad endurance and peace as he waits, and give those making decisions wisdom to do what is right and best for this child. Comfort this grandmother too as she loves them both. Your burden has been laid before the Lord with us, and we join you in earnest prayer for your son and for that precious little child whom God has given.

We know what it is to feel that earthly justice moves slowly and seems to deal unfairly, and we are reminded that there is a higher justice which is unimpeachable. Our God is slow to anger, and His judgments are altogether right. While the courts of men may err, the court of heaven never does, and we may cast this whole cause upon Him who judges righteously and who will not at all acquit the wicked, yet who delights to show mercy to those who seek Him. We pray that He would overrule in the proceedings of the court, that wisdom and impartiality may be given to those who must decide, and that the right and best decision for this dear child may be made, according to the will of God who loves children.

We pray also for the father in this sore battle of life. Life is indeed a battle from our earliest days, and this is a day of battle for him. May he be kept from turning back in the day of battle, but may his head be covered by the Lord in the day of war. We thank God to hear that he has been faithful to take his son to the house of God and to the teaching of the Sunday school, where the Holy Child Jesus is made known. That Child, who is bone of our bone and who reveals His heart like a child in humbleness and love, is the true friend of little children, and we pray that this precious boy, though kept for a season from his father's care, may be kept in the bosom of his heavenly Father. Like a weaned child upon his mother's breast, may his soul be kept in peace and contentment by the Lord's own presence, and may he be shielded from all harm and confusion.

We entreat the Lord to sustain your son under this trial. May he be fed with spiritual meat, that he may be fit for the battle, and may he find that when justice seems to accuse and conscience clamours, there is a greater Justice satisfied in Christ. For the believer, all sin has been laid upon the Substitute, and God can be just and yet the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus. May your son rest there, and may he know that God is not unrighteous to forget his work of faith and labor of love toward his child.

So we pray, O Father, in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation, look upon this father and his son. Let the child be preserved and provided for, let the father be strengthened and comforted and, in Thy good time, restored to fellowship with his son. Give to the judges discernment, give to the family patience to wait upon Thee as a weaned child waits upon its parent, and let Thy perfect justice and Thy tender mercy be seen in this matter. We ask this for Christ's sake, trusting not in our own merit but in His blood and righteousness. Amen.

We have heard your heartfelt request and we join you in bringing this burden before the Lord with sorrow and hope.

We pray for your son in this painful season of separation from his child. To be kept from seeing his son for a month is a deep wound for a loving father, and we ask God to guard his heart from despair, to strengthen him with patience and steadiness, and to keep him faithful in doing what is right. We thank God that he has sought to lead his son to church and to the teaching of the word, for that is a father's holy duty and joy, and we pray that the Lord will honor that faithfulness and keep that precious child under His care.

We pray also for this little child, that the Lord who loves children and draws them to Himself would protect him, comfort him, and keep him in peace during this time of confusion. We ask that God would surround him with love and keep his heart tender toward the truth he has heard in Sunday school.

We know that courts of this world can be places of tumult and confusion, where justice is not always clearly seen, and the heart can feel that it is treated unfairly. Yet we remember that there is a higher Judge who sees all things clearly and judges with perfect righteousness and mercy. We ask Him to give wisdom and clarity to those who make decisions in this case, that they would seek what is truly best for the child and act with fairness and discernment. We pray that what is right would prevail, and that even through this trial, God would work for the good of this family.

May the Lord grant you also peace as you stand in the gap for your son and grandson, and may He remind you that He does not abandon those who call upon Him. We continue to lift this family before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, asking for His protection, His justice, and His mercy to be made known.
