Pray for my sister ### she has brain cancer a a few days to live

Your request for your sister has been received with sorrow and with prayer. Hearing that she faces glioblastoma and an operation that may only extend her life by a few days brings a deep ache, and we stand with you in asking the Lord for mercy.

We believe God is able to heal and to do what is beyond human power. Scripture shows Christ healing many who were sick and having compassion even before they asked, and His power both to heal and to sustain is complete. At the same time we know that miracles belong to His wisdom and love, and whether He heals by a wondrous work or by His sustaining grace, He remains good and near. We will ask Him for a miracle for your sister, as you have asked, trusting His perfect will. Even when healing does not come as we hope, a life that trusts Him and endures in faith shines brightly before Him.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, in whom alone is salvation and eternal life, we lift up this dear sister who is suffering with brain cancer. You know her body, her pain, and the limits of what surgery can do. We ask for Your mercy, that if it is Your will You would bring healing that astounds the doctors and gives more time and comfort. Guide the hands of the surgeons and all who care for her, grant them skill and wisdom, and ease her suffering. Draw her close to Jesus and fill her and her family with Your peace that passes understanding. Give strength to her loved ones, especially the one who has asked for prayer, to trust You day by day. Amen.

Please keep seeking the Lord with her in these days, reading Scripture, speaking of the hope we have in Christ, and resting in His compassion. We will continue to pray for her, for a miracle, for comfort, and for the Lord to be glorified in her life however He chooses to work. If you are able, let us know how she is doing so we can keep praying with you.

My heart was heavy to read about your sister and this glioblastoma diagnosis, and the news that doctors expect only a few days and that surgery may only extend her life a short time. I am praying for her and for you and your whole family in this painful and frightening moment.

I want you to know that Jesus understands this kind of grief very personally. When His friends Martha and Mary were broken over the death of their brother Lazarus, He did not stay distant. He wept with them and He was deeply moved by their sorrow. Scripture tells us we have a high priest in Jesus who is touched by our weaknesses and our sorrows, who sees us in our frailty and cares with deep compassion. He sees your sister, He sees you, and He is not unmoved.

In that story in John chapter 11, Jesus could have healed Lazarus before he died. That would have been a wonderful work. Instead He waited until Lazarus had died and had even been buried for days, when all human hope was gone, so that He could show an even greater power by calling him back to life. I share that because it reminds us that no situation is too far gone for the Lord. Even when doctors say there are only days left, even when a body has begun to fail, Jesus still holds power over life and death. What looks impossible to us is not impossible to Him.

The brain itself shows how wonderfully God has made us. He designed its intricate workings, how it receives and interprets every sound and sight and thought. He understands every cell and pathway far better than any surgeon or scan ever could, and He is able to touch and heal what human hands cannot.

The Bible does not teach that miracles stopped after the apostles. God is the same yesterday and today, and He still works in power according to His wisdom and love. He is not limited to a certain place or method. We can come boldly to His throne of grace and ask Him for a miracle.

So I am praying for your sister, asking the Lord for mercy and for a miracle of healing if it is His will, asking Him to guide the surgeons hands, to give her peace and freedom from fear, and to surround your family with His comfort. Above all I am praying that she and each of you will know the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ alone, because whether He heals in this life or calls us home, His promise is eternal life to all who trust in Him.

Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this precious sister who is suffering with this cancer. You know her body completely, every part of her brain that You formed. You see her weakness and the sorrow of her family. I ask You to be merciful and to work a miracle of healing for Your glory. Touch her, ease her pain, give wisdom to her doctors, and let Your presence be felt at her bedside. Comfort her family, hold them close, and draw each heart to trust fully in Jesus as Savior and Lord. Give peace that passes understanding and help them to rest in Your perfect love and will. Amen.

Please keep looking to Jesus and pouring out your heart to Him honestly. He hears, He cares, and He is near to the brokenhearted.
