Please pray for my sister ### she has brain cancer glioblastoma, going for surgery to extends few days of life, pray for miracle to happen pls

We are standing with you in prayer for your sister in this most difficult and heartbreaking time, and our hearts are heavy hearing of this diagnosis of glioblastoma and that she has only days to live and is facing surgery to extend her life. We are crying out to the Lord with you for a miracle, for His mercy and comfort to surround her and your entire family.

We serve a God who is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine, and nothing is impossible for Him. Scripture reminds us of His power and compassion toward us in our suffering. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why that is so important. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved and our prayers heard. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come to God we must believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for our sins and rose again, and we must put our trust in Him. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We pray that you and your sister both know this hope, because even as we pray for physical healing and for the surgery to go well, we know our greatest miracle is eternal life with Christ.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister and her family to You. Lord, You know her by name, You formed her, and every day of her life is in Your hands. We ask for Your mercy upon her. We pray that You would guide the hands of the surgeons and the medical team, and that You would grant wisdom and skill beyond human understanding. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask for a miracle of healing that would confound the doctors and bring glory to Your name. Touch her body, Lord, heal this brain cancer, and restore her health. We pray against this disease and ask for Your healing power to be made manifest.

Even as we pray for healing, we pray for Your perfect peace to guard her heart and mind and to comfort her family. Psalm 34:18 says, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Be near to them now, Lord. Let them feel Your presence in this valley. Give them strength for each day, and help them to cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them. We pray that Your will be done and that whatever the outcome, she and her family would have the assurance of Your love and of eternal life through faith in Jesus. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to stay close to the Lord in these days, reading His Word and pouring out your heart to Him continually, and to gather believers around you and your sister to pray without ceasing. Psalm 46:1 says, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Keep trusting Him, even when the path is dark, for He is faithful and He holds your sister in His hands. We are continuing to pray with you for a miracle, for comfort, and for the peace that surpasses all understanding to fill your hearts.

We were so sorry to read about your sister. Hearing that she has glioblastoma and only days to live, and now faces surgery that might give just a little more time, is heartbreaking. We can hear how much you love her and how desperately you want a miracle, and we are joining you in prayer for her.

These days before and after surgery can feel overwhelming and disorienting for a whole family. It is normal to swing between hope, fear, numbness and exhaustion when someone you love is so seriously ill. Please try not to walk through the hospital hours alone.

If it is possible, bring one other trusted person with you to sit with you and help hear what the doctors say, so you do not have to remember everything yourself. Allow your pastor or the hospital chaplain to come alongside you and your sister as well. And give yourself permission to step away for short rests, water and meals when others can sit with her. Small practical supports from church family or friends with meals, rides or calls can make a real difference right now.

Father, we lift this dear sister to You and ask for Your mercy and nearness over her. We ask You to guide the surgeons hands, to ease her pain and fear, and to surround her and her family with Your peace that stays even in uncertainty. We pray for a miracle if it is Your will, and above all that she and those who love her would know Your love and presence in these days. In Jesus name, amen.

Your burden for your dear sister has touched our hearts and we have carried it with you to the throne of grace. To hear that she bears the heavy affliction of glioblastoma and that the surgeons can offer only a little lengthening of days is sorrow indeed, and we do not cease to pray that the Lord will look upon her in great mercy.

We bring this hard case before the Great Physician, of whom it is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves, the least things about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. If the sinner does but come to Jesus, he shall find no stint in His healing power. Though the sick soul is full of need, the Saviour is full of grace. We would bid you put forth the finger of faith and touch even the hem of His garment, and lift your eyes to Christ upon the cross, from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.

Remember that this Man does many miracles. The power of Christ to save and to heal does not lie in the person who is to be helped, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself. He did nothing but speak, and the work was done, for His teaching has an omnipotent force about it. He is grand in emergencies and He displays His power spontaneously, without need of pressing or even prompting. What comfort is here, that we may bring every hard case before Him. The sight of misery touches His heart, and none can work this mighty miracle of mercy but the Lord Jesus Christ, yet He can do it more swiftly than we can speak of it.

Therefore we have prayed, and we continue to pray, for your beloved sister. We ask the Lord, if it be His gracious will, to lay His hand upon her, to guide the hands of the surgeons, to restrain the disease, and to grant a miracle of healing that all may see His power. Above all, we pray for the healing of her soul, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. We pray that she may know the Sun of Righteousness risen upon her with healing in His wings, that whether the Lord wills to raise her up for a longer life below or to call her home, she may be found in Christ, forgiven, cleansed, and made whole, for His salvation will perfectly heal both soul and body in His time.

We pray also for you and for all who love her. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. He hears sad complaints and pities those who weep. May He fill you with peace that passes understanding, sustain you in these days of watching and waiting, and strengthen your faith to trust Him, even as you plead with Him. Cast this burden upon Him, for He cares for you, and have faith in God, that whatever His wise and loving will shall be, it will be for His glory and for the good of those who are His.

O Lord, look in mercy upon this dear sister afflicted with this grievous cancer. Speak the word and she shall be healed, if it please Thee. Forgive her sins, wash her in the blood of Christ, and let healing virtue go forth from Thee. Comfort her family, hold them near, and let them know that Thou art near. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our life and our healing. Amen.
