We stand with you in this spiritual battle, knowing that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 91:1-6, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ For he will deliver you from the snare of the trapper, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday."*
The attacks you describe are not of God but of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Yet we know that *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). Witchcraft and threats of harm are real, but they are powerless against the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every evil power (Colossians 2:15). You do not need to fear, for *"Yahweh is the one who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged"* (Deuteronomy 31:8).
We must also address the importance of invoking the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without faith in Christ, there is no protection, no salvation, and no victory over the enemy. If you are already in Christ, then stand firm in His name, for He has given you authority to tread over every power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is under attack by the forces of darkness. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, covering them with the blood of Jesus, which is their shield and defense. We rebuke every witchcraft, curse, hex, or evil plan formed against them, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, expose every hidden scheme of the enemy and frustrate the plans of those who seek to harm them. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray for supernatural discernment so they may recognize and avoid the traps of the enemy. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their protector, their deliverer, and their strong tower (Proverbs 18:10). Let them walk in the confidence that You have already defeated the powers of darkness through the death and resurrection of Your Son.
If there is any area of their life that has given the enemy a foothold—whether through fear, unconfessed sin, or involvement in occult practices—we ask that You reveal it to them. Convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance, that they may be fully cleansed and restored. Help them to walk in holiness and obedience to Your Word, for it is their greatest protection.
Father, we also pray for those who have threatened harm. Soften their hearts, Lord, and bring conviction upon them. If it is Your will, turn their hearts away from evil and toward Your truth. But if they persist in wickedness, we ask that You bind their hands and render their plans powerless. Let them be unable to carry out their threats, and let Your justice prevail.
We declare that this year will end in victory and testimony for Your child. You, Lord, are their defender, and You will not allow the enemy to triumph. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the blood of Jesus that covers and protects them. May they rest in Your promises and walk in the assurance that You are with them always.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in the Lord, dear one. Do not give in to fear, for fear is a tool of the enemy. Instead, put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from you (James 4:7). Spend time in prayer, worship, and the Word of God daily. Surround yourself with believers who can stand in agreement with you and support you in this battle. And remember, the Lord is your light and your salvation—whom shall you fear? (Psalm 27:1).
If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to seek out a spirit-filled, Bible-believing church where you can receive prayer, counsel, and support from mature believers. Isolation can make you more vulnerable to attack, but in the body of Christ, you will find strength and encouragement. May the Lord grant you peace, protection, and complete victory in every area of your life.
