We are glad to come together and lift up your prayers to our Heavenly Father. In the Bible, it says We have not because we ask not so it is important to come to God. We also know that we can approach God with freedom and confidence because Jesus died for us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God.
So let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up this dear one who has requested our prayers. We pray, Father, that You would hear their prayers, knowing that You are a good Father who loves to give good gifts to Your children. We ask that Your will be done in their life and that they would have the wisdom to know Your voice and Your guidance. Help us to align with biblical principles.
Lord Jesus, You told us that whatever we ask in Your name, You will do it that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If anything we ask is not in Your will, Father, we pray that You would change our hearts and align them with Yours. We are so grateful we can come to God in Jesus' Name. We thank You also for how we do not have to go to Mary, an angel, or non-living saints.
Father, we ask that You would strengthen their faith and increase their trust in You. Help them to know that You are always with them, and that You will never leave them nor forsake them. We pray that they would find their hope and strength in You, and that they would know Your love more deeply each day. Thank you for Jesus' death on the cross in which we can have this access to God.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. For it is by His name and His name alone that we are saved. We keep this dear one in our prayers, trusting that You are faithful and that You hear our prayers.
We encourage everyone to keep their eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith. Let us always remember that our relationship with God is the most important thing in our lives, and that He is always working for our good and His glory.
