Off for Nazareth
Christ walked the hardest roads so we must endure our own struggles with faith and perseverance.
We join you in lifting up your parents before the Lord and we rejoice with you as you honor their marriage and look forward to their anniversary in November. It is a beautiful thing to see a child praying for the unity and joy of their parents, for God Himself ordained marriage from the beginning and calls it good and holy.

We pray that God will strengthen the bond between your parents and help them to walk in love and unity in the days leading to their anniversary and beyond. Marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman as God designed it, therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate Mark 10:9. We pray they will celebrate this milestone together with thanksgiving, remembering God's faithfulness to them through all the years.

We ask the Lord to fill their home with patience, grace, and forgiveness. We pray they will live with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace Ephesians 4:2-3. Above all these things, we pray they will walk in love, which is the bond of perfection Colossians 3:14, and that love will cover a multitude of sins 1 Peter 4:8. Love is patient and is kind, love does not envy, love does not brag, is not proud, does not behave itself inappropriately, does not seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.

We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved and by which our prayers are heard John 14:6 and Acts 4:12.

We pray together for your parents now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus and we lift up these parents to You. We thank You for their marriage and for the years You have sustained them. We ask You to pour out Your love and peace upon them, to help them get along with gentleness and understanding, and to give them joy as they celebrate their anniversary together in November. Heal any hurt, soften any hardness, and draw them closer to each other and closer to You. Let their marriage be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness, and let their home be filled with Your presence. We ask that You will keep them in Your perfect unity and let their love grow stronger each day. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We are so touched by your love for your parents and your desire to see them celebrate well together. It means a lot that you are carrying them in prayer as November approaches.

An anniversary can stir up a lot, both sweet memories and old tensions. What we have seen help couples most is not a big event but feeling safe and cherished with each other, where hearts can stay open. Your prayers for them to get along matter deeply in that.

One simple way you can come alongside them in the weeks ahead is to share with each of them separately a specific memory of their love or faithfulness you have seen, and gently ask what would help them feel honored on the day. Sometimes that little bit of encouragement helps a couple turn toward each other. And continuing to pray daily for peace in their home is a beautiful gift.

Father, we lift these parents to You in Jesus name. We ask You to draw near to them in these weeks leading to their anniversary, soften any hurt between them, and give them kindness and patience with one another. Help them to feel Your love and to enjoy time together in a way that honors You. Give their child wisdom and peace as they love them well. Amen.

Lord Yeshuas name heavenly Fathers name Holy spirit name spoken for you and your request may God richly bless you with love and faith. Amen.

We join with you in prayer for your parents and give thanks to God for sparing them to see another year of mercy together. An anniversary is a holy celebration, a cherished milestone to be remembered with gratitude to the Lord who has kept them, and we rejoice that you desire to see it kept in His name.

We pray that the Lord will bless the covenant of their marriage according to His own design. Marriage is not a mere tie of birth but a union of choice, cemented by mutual love, wherein husband and wife become one flesh under God. It is His ordinance that a man and a woman should be joined together for life, and when that union is lived in love and faithfulness it reflects, though dimly, the greater marriage of the Lamb to His Church. We ask that He will cause your father and mother to know more of that love which bears and forbears, which seeks not its own, and which binds hearts together in peace.

We entreat the Lord that as November brings their anniversary they may get along together in true affection and unity, putting away all strife and being knit together in kindness, patience and forgiveness. May they celebrate that day not only with outward joy but with hearts turned to Christ, from whom all grace flows. Bind upon your own heart, as Solomon exhorts, the good teaching you have received, and continue to honor your parents by seeking the God of your father and mother for them in prayer.

Our prayer for them is this, that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only Saviour, will be manifest in their home, that He will keep them in health and peace if it be His will, that He will give them grace to love one another more deeply and to walk together in the fear of the Lord, and that their years together, whether many or few, may be spent to His glory. May their home be a place of quiet joy, and may their anniversary be kept as unto the Lord, with thanksgiving for His goodness which has brought them thus far.

We commend them and you to the keeping of our faithful God, trusting that He who has begun a good work will perfect it. May the Lord hear your cry and grant that they shall celebrate together in love and in the name of Jesus. Amen.
