Pray for my mother to stop hiding my things

Good and Faithful Servant
Pray for my mother to stop hiding my things as I have brought an anti-slip bottle to prevent her from slipping in the toilet and yet she hid it as she fell down once in the toilet so to prevent this, I brought the anti-slip to prevent her from slipping yet she hid it as her plan to save money and prevent the use of it and ask her to take out and use but she still continues to hide it and so that she falls and can go and see the expensive Chinese TCM to do their acupuncture to waste a ton of money on that. Pray that she will soon use the anti-slip solution and stop hiding my things to wait till it expires that is a very wasteful thing and it does not save the money but spend more due to the fall and also her resistance to salvation and Christianity and going to church. But rather she will trust in herself and Buddhism teaching which will enlighten her to go to heaven and resist Christianity by brushing it off as a shoo. And pray for my ### who is so ingrained in that vegetarian by doing good and eating vegetables not to harm living animals as food will make him go to heaven and idol worship is the way to go they are so resistant to Christianity.

We hear your deep concern for your mother’s safety, her resistance to practical wisdom, and her spiritual condition. This situation grieves our hearts, for it reveals not only a struggle with worldly stubbornness but also a dangerous rejection of the truth of Jesus Christ. We stand with you in prayer, lifting this matter before the Lord with urgency and love.

First, we must address the spiritual rebellion in this situation. Your mother’s trust in Buddhism, vegetarianism as a means of salvation, and idol worship is a direct contradiction to the Word of God. Scripture is clear: *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life! No one comes to the Father except through me.’"* (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other path to heaven, no other name by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12). Her belief that good works or dietary choices can earn salvation is a deception. *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."* (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB). We must rebuke this false teaching in the name of Jesus and pray that her eyes be opened to the truth.

Her resistance to Christianity is not merely a personal preference—it is spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to keep her bound in deception, and her refusal to accept the gospel is a matter of eternal consequence. We must pray fervently for the Holy Spirit to convict her heart, to break the chains of pride and tradition, and to draw her to repentance. *"The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them."* (2 Corinthians 4:4 WEB). But we serve a God who shines light into darkness, and we declare that her spiritual blindness will be lifted in Jesus’ name.

Regarding her hiding of the anti-slip bottle, this reveals a heart of control and distrust, even when the intention is for her protection. Proverbs 3:5-6 warns, *"Don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Her reliance on her own judgment—even to her own harm—is a manifestation of pride. We rebuke this spirit of stubbornness and pray that she would humble herself before the Lord. Her actions are not only physically dangerous but also spiritually revealing. She is placing her trust in her own plans rather than in God’s provision. We must pray that she would see the foolishness of her ways and turn to the Lord for wisdom.

Her belief that spending money on traditional medicine is wiser than using a simple, practical solution is a form of idolatry—placing trust in human wisdom and financial waste rather than in God’s common grace. We declare that her eyes would be opened to see the truth: that her actions are not saving money but rather leading to greater expense and harm. *"There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death."* (Proverbs 14:12 WEB). We pray that she would repent of this misplaced trust and embrace the wisdom that comes from above.

We also lift up your family member who is deeply entrenched in these false beliefs. Their resistance to the gospel is a heartbreaking bondage, but we serve a God who breaks every chain. We must pray for their salvation with boldness, asking the Lord to send laborers into their life who will speak truth in love. *"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?"* (Romans 10:14 WEB). We declare that the scales will fall from their eyes, and they will see the beauty of Christ.

Now, let us come before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family to Your throne of grace. Lord, we first ask for Your forgiveness for any sin in this situation—whether it be pride, idolatry, or unbelief. We repent on behalf of this mother and this family member for their rejection of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We declare that there is no other name under heaven by which they can be saved, and we ask that You would shatter the lies they have believed.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of deception that has blinded their eyes to the truth of the gospel. We pray that You would send Your Holy Spirit to convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Break the chains of tradition and pride that keep them bound to false teachings. Open their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word. We declare that they will no longer resist the gospel but will be drawn to the light of Christ.

Lord, we also pray for this mother’s physical safety. Her actions in hiding the anti-slip bottle are dangerous and reveal a heart that is not submitted to wisdom. We ask that You would humble her and help her to see the foolishness of her ways. Remove the spirit of control and distrust, and replace it with a spirit of humility and trust in You. We pray that she would begin to use the anti-slip bottle and that You would protect her from harm.

Father, we ask that You would provide godly influences in their lives—believers who will speak truth in love and demonstrate the power of the gospel. Surround them with Your people who will pray for them, love them, and point them to Christ. We declare that their resistance to Christianity will be broken, and they will come to know You as their Lord and Savior.

We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who hears our prayers and moves on behalf of Your children. We trust that You are working even now to draw this family to Yourself. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your mother and family member. Do not grow weary in praying for their salvation, for the harvest is ripe, and the Lord is faithful. Share the gospel with them in love, and trust that God will use your witness to soften their hearts. Remember, *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."* (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). Keep praying, keep loving, and keep trusting in the Lord’s perfect timing.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

Dear friend, we're praying with you for your mother's safety and spiritual well-being. It's clear that she's in a tough spot, both physically and spiritually. We've been thinking about her and wanted to reach out again.

First, let's pray for her physical safety. Her refusal to use the anti-slip bottle is putting her at risk. We ask that she would humble herself and accept help, even if it's just a simple solution. Lord, please open her eyes to see the wisdom in using this bottle to prevent falls. Help her to trust in your provision and not rely solely on her own understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Next, let's address the spiritual aspect. It's concerning that she's resistant to Christianity and is placing her trust in Buddhism and other practices. Lord, we ask that you would reveal the truth to her. Open her heart to understand that Jesus is the only way to heaven. We declare that the scales will fall from her eyes, and she will see the light of the gospel. In Jesus' name, we pray.

We also want to encourage you to keep praying and keep loving. It's easy to get discouraged, but remember, God is at work. Keep sharing the gospel with her, and trust that God will use your witness to soften her heart. We're in this together, and we believe that God will move in her life.

Keep us updated, and know that we're standing with you in prayer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
