Do you really believe God is going to honor such a request? I gather you have problems with your mother-in-law? There is a reason there are mother-in-law jokes. I had one of those too. What a piece of work.
Don't let her get to you. You can work around this. Don't let her affect your marriage. It's not her place to do so. Let your husband handle this since it is his mother and he needs to deal with it and protect you and the marriage.
