We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother and your family’s needs. Father God, we know You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all diseases and restores what is broken. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We stand on this promise, believing that You see your mother’s suffering from fatty liver grade 2 and that You are already at work in her body. Lord, strengthen her liver, cleanse it of all impurity, and grant her vitality and long life. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command her body to align with Your perfect design for health. Guide her in making wise choices with diet, rest, and medical care, and surround her with godly counsel to support her healing.
We also bring before You the deep financial burden you are carrying. The weight of debt and unemployment can feel crushing, but we declare that our God is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We pray for divine opportunities to open—jobs that honor You, provision that meets every need, and wisdom to steward resources well. Father, break the chains of financial stress and replace them with Your peace. We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare abundance in Your name. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, not on the circumstances, for He is your Provider.
We also lift up the grief of losing your father. The pain of loss is real, but we take comfort in knowing he is now in the presence of the Lord, free from suffering. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Father, wrap Your arms around your mother and the entire family. Strengthen them in their weakness, and fill the void with Your perfect peace. We declare that though sorrow may last for the night, joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Let Your presence be their comfort, and let Your hope be their anchor.
We notice that while you have called on the name of Jesus, there is a tendency to mix this with other titles like "Almighty God" without always specifying the name of Christ. We want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). We encourage you to always pray in the authority of Jesus’ name, for it is the name above every name, and at the name of Jesus every knee will bow (Philippians 2:9-10).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this precious mother and her family to You. Lord, we ask for complete healing for her liver—restore it to full health and function. Let Your healing power flow through her body, bringing strength, vitality, and long life. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this truth.
Father, we also cry out for financial breakthrough. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide jobs, resources, and opportunities that will meet every need. Break the chains of debt and lack, and replace them with Your abundance. Give wisdom to manage what You provide, and let Your peace guard their hearts in this season of waiting.
Comfort this family in their grief, Lord. Let Your presence be their strength, and remind them that their loved one is with You, whole and at peace. Bind them together in love, and let Your hope rise in their hearts.
We rebuke every spirit of sickness, lack, and despair in Jesus’ name. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your provision, and Your healing power. May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, trusting in You alone.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
