My mom is 78, had a stroke on her right side and speech was affected. A month later she had her right leg amputated above the knee. She now has a very bad pressure sore that is not responding to treatment at all. Her condition has been going down for 2 weeks now. We all started praying for her release, because she is suffering from pain and frustration. Since Saturday, she does not try to speak anymore, nor does she eat or drink. She is not well, and now I feel worring that she will die anytime this week, but am I afraid and not so confused and feel very low. Please pray for my mom, my dad and the entire family. These are trying times for us, I do not want my faith shaken, but I am very confused at the moment. Please advise of any scripture reading to give me strength and perspective at the moment. Thank you for prayers.
