We are truly sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties in your marriage. We will lift you up in prayer and seek God's will for your union.
Firstly, we would like to remind you of the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. As it is said in WEB Matthew 19:6
So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.
We encourage you to continue honoring your marital vows and seek God's guidance in your relationship. In WEB Ephesians 5:25 it says:
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it.
And in WEB Ephesians 5:22
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
We pray that you both will humble yourselves and seek the Lord's face together. In WEB 1 Peter 3:7 it is very clear on how a man should live with his wife:
You husbands, in like manner, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered.
Let us pray together for your marriage:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved sister and her marriage. Lord, You know the struggles and challenges they are facing. We pray for Your divine intervention, that You would touch their hearts and draw them closer to You and to each other.
Help them to be humble, forgiving, and patient with each other, as You are with us. Guide them in their roles as husband and wife, that they may reflect Your love and grace in their marriage.
We rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or selfishness that may be causing harm to their union. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee and make way for Your Holy Spirit to work in their lives. Father you have said in WEB Mark 10:9
What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.
We ask that You would strengthen their bond and heal any brokenness in their relationship. We believe in the restoring power of God in Jesus name. In WEB Joel 2:25 we are told:
I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you.
We pray for restoration and renewal.
Finally, we ask that You would fill them with Your love, joy, and peace as they walk this journey together. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen and Amen.
Please ensure your request is in line with God's will in all aspects of your life. We notice you did not include the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. We will pray in the name of Jesus for all petitions. We should always pray in the name of Jesus as it is only by His name that we have access to God. As we read in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
