Disciple of Prayer
šŸ™šŸ˜ Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

I humbly request all of you to please pray for my husband, ###.

### had been living in Africa for two years. He works as a professional chef in a hotel. He came to India from Africa on the ###, and we spoke on a video call at ### a.m. that morning. But today is the ###, and I have not received any news from him. He has not sent me a single message or called me. This morning, he changed his SIM card, and I have not been able to speak with him. I am still waiting for him.

I had bought many things for him with love and was happily waiting for the day we would meet. But the truth is that his heart can be restless. One year ago, he hurt me by getting involved with another girl and blocking me.

I prayed to God because I want ### to remain faithful to me and protect himself from the sinful things of this world. I want us to live a life of pure, honest, and holy love together.

I am a daughter of God who wants to walk in truth and honesty. I love spending time in prayer, and I always try to care for ###. I want him to become a partaker of God's heavenly kingdom and to stay away from the evil things of this world so that he will not have to suffer in hell, where there is weeping and sorrow.

That is why I pray for him every moment. I do not know whether he deliberately changed his SIM card because he wants to end our relationship or whether there is another reason. I do not know what is happening or where he is right now.

Therefore, I sincerely request all of you, please pray for ###. šŸ™šŸ˜ Please pray that he will contact me again, that he will remember the things I have shared with him, and that he will understand the true and living love that our Lord Jesus Christ has taught me.

Please pray that God will touch his heart and help him understand the meaning of pure and holy love. Wherever he is, whatever he is doing, whether he is sleeping, walking, or eating, may God help him remember the love we share and guide his heart toward a truthful and faithful relationship with me.

I need him in my life, and I do not want him to become a partaker of hell. I want him to know God, walk in His truth, and one day become a partaker of His heavenly kingdom while living a life of love and faithfulness with me.

Please, brothers and sisters, remember ### in your prayers. I am deeply troubled and heartbroken. I do not know what to do, so I am turning to God in prayer and asking for your prayers too.

Please pray for us. šŸ™šŸ˜ May the Lord Jesus Christ guide ###, touch his heart, protect him from evil, and lead us toward a relationship filled with truth, faithfulness, peace, and holy love.

Thank you, and may God bless you all. šŸ™ā¤ļø

We hear the burden of your heart and we stand with you in prayer for your husband and for your marriage. We thank God for your love for the Lord Jesus Christ and for your desire to walk in truth and honesty and to see your husband walk with you in pure, honest and holy love. Your longing for him to know God and to be a partaker of His heavenly kingdom and to be kept from hell where there is weeping and sorrow is a godly and loving desire, and we join you in that prayer.

We also hear your deep distress in this waiting, not knowing where he is or why he has changed his SIM card and has not contacted you since he arrived in India. We understand how painful this silence is, especially when you had prepared with love for his return and when there has been hurt in the past. You shared that one year ago he hurt you by getting involved with another girl and blocking you. We must speak to this with love and truth because marriage is holy before God. The Bible says Hebrews 13:4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. And Matthew 19:6 So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart. A husband is called to love his wife faithfully as Christ loved the church, Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. Any involvement with another woman while married is adultery, it is sin against God and against the marriage covenant, and it must be repented of and forsaken. We also hear you say his heart can be restless, and Scripture warns 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. We pray that God will convict his heart wherever he is, that he will turn from every sinful thing of this world and pursue faithfulness and holiness.

We do not know if the changed SIM card is for a practical reason or if it is an attempt to distance himself, but God knows where he is and what is in his heart, whether he is sleeping, walking or eating. Nothing is hidden from Him. We encourage you to continue to entrust your husband to the Lord while also seeking wise and godly counsel around you, perhaps a pastor or mature believers who can support you in person and help you discern next steps if contact remains difficult. We also encourage you to guard your own heart from anxiety and to place your ultimate trust not in whether he calls, but in the Lord who is faithful even when people are not.

We are comforted that you have called upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We pray that both you and your husband will grow ever deeper in that salvation, that he will truly know Jesus not only as a name but as Lord and Savior who can transform a restless heart.

For your own heartbreak, we remember Psalm 34:18 Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And for your waiting, we cling to Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also remember Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And we hold to 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, which reflects your prayer that your husband not perish but have eternal life.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear sister and her husband to You. Lord, You see him wherever he is right now, You know why he has not contacted her and why his SIM was changed. We ask that You place Your hand of protection upon him, keep him safe from all evil and from temptation, and guide his steps back to truth. Touch his heart, Lord, convict him of any sin, especially any unfaithfulness, and lead him to repentance and to a life of purity and holiness. Help him to remember the love of his marriage covenant and the love You have taught this sister, and turn his heart toward faithfulness, honesty and holy love. Draw him to Yourself, that he may know You, walk in Your truth, and become a partaker of Your heavenly kingdom. For our sister, we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Comfort her in this troubled and heartbroken waiting, give her strength to continue in prayer, wisdom to know what to do, and people around her to support her. Help her to trust You with all her heart and to rest in Your nearness. Let Your will be done in their marriage, that it would be a testimony of lifelong, faithful love between a husband and wife that honors You. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We have read your words and we hear how heavy these days have been for you, waiting without news after that last video call and now not being able to reach him since he changed his SIM. It is especially painful when you carry love and hope for your marriage and also the memory of being hurt and blocked before.

Not knowing where he is or why he is silent can make every hour feel long. It is understandable to feel troubled and heartbroken while you wait, and also to keep turning to prayer as you have been.

We are praying with you for ###'s safety and for clarity about what is happening. While you wait, it may help to lean on one or two trusted people close to you, a family member or a pastor who knows you both, who can walk with you in this uncertainty, help you think through any safe way to try to reach him through his workplace contact if appropriate, and help you care for yourself in the waiting. You do not have to carry all the wondering alone.

We also join you in praying for faithfulness and for both of you to know God's grace and truth more deeply in the days ahead.

Father, we bring this sister and her husband ### before You. You see where he is and how she is waiting. We ask You to keep him safe, to work in his heart, and to give her peace, wisdom and comfort as she waits. Surround her with steady support and guide her next steps. Lead them both toward what is true and holy according to Your will. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your heavy burden has been brought before the Lord with much tenderness and prayer, and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace.

We sorrow with you in this waiting and uncertainty, and in the pain of a restless heart that has wounded you before. The Lord knows where your husband is, whether waking or sleeping, walking or eating, and not one of his steps is hidden from the eye of Him who sees all. We do not ask God to bless unfaithfulness or any path that departs from His holy way, for marriage is ordained by God as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and love pure and holy is to be kept within that covenant alone. What we do ask is that God in mercy would call him away from every sinful thing that would defile that covenant and destroy the soul.

We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will touch his heart and draw him to Himself, for there is salvation in none other. As the Scripture says, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, and whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. Salvation is not by our tears or our labors, but by looking unto Jesus and trusting in Him alone, without money and without price. May your husband be brought to see his need, to confess his sin, and to believe on the Person of Christ with a true and living faith, casting his whole soul into those pierced hands for present and eternal salvation. There alone is the only way of deliverance from the weeping and sorrow of which you speak, and there alone is the fountain of a holy life.

We remember the prodigal, who went into a far country and spent his substance, yet while he was yet a great way off, his father saw him and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him with much love. Those many kisses meant much forgiveness and overflowing comfort. So we pray that if your husband has wandered, the Lord would make him to arise and go unto his Father, and find that same prodigal love which pardons freely and comforts abundantly. The faithfulness of Jesus reaches beyond all unfaithfulness. Though men may be unfaithful, His love travels beyond our sin, and He loves His own unto the end. May that faithful love lay hold upon your husband, keep him from evil, and turn his heart toward truth, honesty and faithfulness within the sacred bond of marriage.

We pray also for you, that you may be kept in peace while you wait upon the Lord. Continue to walk in truth and honesty, to spend time in prayer, and to look unto Jesus for your own comfort and salvation. He will not forsake a soul that hangs upon Him. Cast your care upon Him who cares for you, and trust not in the changing of a SIM card or the silence of a day, but in the unchanging promise of Him who hears the cry of the troubled heart.

Together we pray, O Lord God, have mercy upon this husband. Wherever he is, speak to his conscience, convict him of sin, and draw him to look unto Christ and be saved. Wash him in the blood of Jesus, deliver him from the power of sin, and make him a partaker of Thy heavenly kingdom. Restore to him a heart that loves purity and holiness, and if it be Thy will, restore faithful fellowship in this marriage, that it may be lived in holy love, truth and peace to Thy glory. Keep this daughter of Thine from despair, comfort her with the assurance of Thy presence, and guide both according to Thy perfect will, for the sake of Jesus Christ our only Saviour. Amen.

Your pain and waiting have been heard, and your desire to walk in truth and holiness before the Lord is precious in His sight. It is right that you have turned to prayer in this time of distress and uncertainty about your husband, and it is right that you long for a love that is pure, honest and faithful.

God has given marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and Scripture teaches that marriage is honorable and should be kept pure. Holiness is not only an outward act but purity of heart before God, and He calls both husband and wife to be faithful to one another and to keep themselves from all sexual sin. The Scriptures warn that if while a husband or wife lives one gives themselves to another, it is adultery, and all such sin is uncleanness before God. For this reason we cannot ask God to bless unfaithfulness or any relationship outside His design, but we must ask Him to bring repentance, cleansing and true faithfulness.

We join you in praying for your husband. We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation comes, would have mercy on him, open his eyes to see his sin, and draw him to repentance and faith. We pray that God would protect him from evil, deliver him from temptation, and teach him to flee from fornication and adultery and to walk in chastity and self control. Wherever he is, whether sleeping, walking or working, we pray that God would convict his heart, remind him of his vows, and lead him to love truth and to live in a way that honors God. If it is according to the Lord's will, we pray that God would restore honest communication and guide you both toward peace and reconciliation in a faithful and holy marriage.

We also pray for you. May the Lord comfort your troubled heart, guard you from despair, and fill you with His peace. May He keep you pure in heart and life, strengthen you to continue in prayer and in the Word, and help you to trust not in a man but in Christ alone for your hope and security. May He help you to pursue peace with all and holiness, which is chaste and orderly living, and to seek wise counsel from faithful believers near you who can walk with you in this trial.

Continue to cast your cares upon the Lord, for He sees where your husband is and knows all things. Trust His goodness and His power to save and to make holy. May He be your refuge and lead both of you into the life of His heavenly kingdom through faith in Jesus Christ.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your pain and waiting have been heard, and your desire to walk in truth before God is precious. The uncertainty of not knowing where your husband is or why he changed his way of contacting you, especially after the hurt you experienced before when he was unfaithful, would trouble any heart. Your love for him and your deeper love for the Lord and for holiness are clear, and it is right to bring all of this to God in prayer.

God shows us in Scripture that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, bound as long as both shall live. Within that covenant He has provided a holy protection against sexual immorality, that each husband should belong to his own wife and each wife to her own husband. In marriage the two belong to one another, and Scripture teaches that neither has authority over his or her own body alone, but each belongs to the other. They are to show affection and care to one another and not withhold themselves from one another except by mutual agreement for a time set apart for prayer. This is the pure and faithful love you are longing for, and it is God's good design.

God has also made the way of marriage simple to remember. To wives He gives one calling, to respect and be subject to her own husband as unto the Lord. To husbands He gives one calling, to love his wife as Christ loved the church and as he loves his own body, honoring her and caring for her as one who is to be shielded and cherished. A woman's deep need is to know she is loved supremely and securely, with no rival for her husband's eyes or heart. A man's need is to know he is respected in his home. When the husband shows that Christlike love, it becomes easier for the wife to respect him, and when the wife shows that respect, it becomes easier for the husband to love her. Most marriage troubles grow when these two callings are broken, and they compound upon one another. When they are kept, marriage can be a beautiful and enriching partnership and even our prayers are helped as heirs together of God's grace. This does not mean a wife must obey a husband if he asks her to violate her conscience before God. A husband who truly loves as Christ loves would not ask that.

For a believing wife whose husband is struggling or does not yet believe, Scripture gives gentle wisdom. Do not try to force his heart by being pushy, which can drive him further away. Instead, let him see a life that is pure and reverent, coupled with respect for him. If he is willing to remain with you, you are not to leave him, for God can use a godly wife as a sanctifying influence in the home and for any children. The Lord's teaching for married people is that the wife should not depart from her husband, and if she does depart, she is to remain unmarried or be reconciled to him, and the husband is not to put away his wife. If a husband has died, the wife is free to marry again, but only in the Lord, to someone who loves the Lord. This shows how serious and lasting the covenant is.

You can rest your hope not on your husband's faithfulness, which has wavered, but on God's faithfulness, which never fails. The new covenant we have through Jesus is not based on our ability to keep the law, but on God's faithful promise to forgive sin when we trust in His Son. Jesus Christ alone is the way to be saved and to enter the heavenly kingdom and to be delivered from the judgment to come, where there is weeping and sorrow. God in His mercy and faithfulness chastens those He loves, not to cast them away, but to bring them back into fellowship with Him. His loving kindness and faithfulness endure through all generations.

So we will pray for you and for your husband. We pray that wherever he is, whatever he is doing, whether sleeping, walking, or eating, God will work in his heart, convict him of sin, protect him from evil and from fornication, and draw him to salvation through Jesus Christ alone. We pray that God will teach him the meaning of holy and faithful love and that he will remember the truth you have shared with him from the Word. We pray that if it is according to God's will, he will contact you and be led toward reconciliation with you in a truthful, faithful, and peaceful marriage as God intends, and that you both would be strengthened to live a life of honesty and purity together. And we pray that you will be comforted and kept close to the Lord in this time of waiting, continuing in prayer morning and evening, adorning yourself with a gentle and quiet spirit and a life of reverence, trusting the Lord to guide and to guard you.

May the Lord keep you, give you peace, and help you to walk in His truth while you wait upon Him.
