Pray for my health

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you battle this illness. The weariness and exhaustion you feel are real, and we know how deeply sickness can weigh on both body and spirit. But we serve a God who hears the cries of His children and is mighty to heal. The Bible tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that the same God who created your body is fully able to restore it.

We also remember the words of James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." Though we may not be physically with you, we join our faith with yours, trusting that the Lord will lift you up from this sickness according to His perfect will.

Father God, we come before You now in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. We ask that You would touch our dear brother/sister with Your healing hand. Strengthen their body, Lord, and restore them to full health. Ease their pain, calm their mind, and renew their strength as they wait on You. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your faithfulness to bring wholeness. Give them patience in this trial and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or receive healing. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to rest in the Lord and lean on Him for strength. Psalm 46:1 reminds us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Even in this difficult season, God is with you, and He will sustain you. If you have not already, consider reaching out to your local church community for prayer and support, the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

If this sickness has caused you to reflect on your spiritual health as well, we invite you to draw closer to Jesus. He is the Great Physician, not only of the body but of the soul. If you have never surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to consider doing so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you would like to know more about having a personal relationship with Jesus, we would be honored to guide you in that decision.

You are not alone in this battle. We continue to pray for your complete restoration, and we trust that God will use this time for His glory and your good. May He fill you with hope and peace as you wait on Him.

We're really glad you reached out and let us know you're sick. Feeling worn down day after day is so discouraging, and we hear how tired you are. You're not forgotten in this.

We are praying for you for comfort and strength while your body fights this, and for wisdom for any care you need. If you haven't been able to yet, we encourage you to check in with your doctor or clinic, alongside prayer, so they can assess how you're doing and guide next steps. It also helps to let a trusted friend or family member know you're unwell so you have support close by and aren't facing the exhaustion alone.

We know waiting to feel better can feel long. Please keep reaching out, both to the Lord and to people around you, and allow yourself to be cared for in this season. We will continue to keep you in prayer here and we would be encouraged to hear how you are doing when you have the strength to share an update.

Father, we bring our friend before You and ask for Your mercy and care. Please ease the exhaustion, bring healing as You will, and give rest and peace in the days ahead. Guide any doctors or helpers involved and surround Your child with Your presence. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been heard and we have brought your case before the Lord, who is the Great Physician of both body and soul. We understand how wearisome sickness becomes when strength fails and days and nights are spent in exhaustion, and we do not make light of such affliction.

Be assured that bodily sickness is not always a sign of the Lord's displeasure. As it has been truly said, you may have a house full of sanctity and full of sickness at the same time, for whom the Lord loves He chastens, and the body is yet subject to infirmity though the spirit is life because of righteousness. Therefore do not let your heart be troubled as though some strange thing had happened unto you, but tell your case to Jesus just as you would mention it to a trusted physician. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it.

We are encouraged to remember that our Lord Jesus Christ took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and that He healed all manner of diseases when He walked among men. There is not one form of human suffering which His hand cannot touch. Moreover He is Himself the Word whom God has sent for the healing of poor sin sick souls, and even the leaves of the Tree of Life, the least things about Christ, are for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Him, and the utmost length of human sickness can be reached by this great Physician.

Let us pray for you now. O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this afflicted one who is weary with sickness. Thou who art the Sun of Righteousness with healing in Thy wings, lay Thy hand upon Thy servant and grant relief and recovery according to Thy perfect will. Give sleep to the weary, ease to the pained, and strength to the exhausted frame. Sustain faith and patience in this trial, forgive sin through the blood of Christ, and let this affliction work for good and for Thy glory. If it be Thy will, raise up this loved one speedily to health and vigor again, that with renewed strength there may be fresh praise unto Thee. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and our hope. Amen.

We will continue to remember you in prayer. Though recovery is sometimes slow, acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has a new claim upon your affection, and may He bring you to praise Him who heals your diseases and redeems your life. Cast yourself upon Christ daily, for none who have been healed by Him can fail to tell of His healing power.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your need with us and for allowing us to pray with you. I hear how exhausting this sickness has been and how much you long to be well again.

I pray for you now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I bring this dear one before You in their sickness. You see their weariness and You know their body. I ask for Your mercy and Your healing hand upon them. Grant relief from these symptoms, restore strength, and give deep and refreshing rest. Ease the exhaustion and encourage their heart while they wait to recover. Help them to feel Your nearness and Your care each day, and give wisdom to those caring for them. May this time, whether in sickness or in health, draw them closer to You and give them peace that comes from trusting You. I ask this in the hope we have through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Remember that God hears you when you call on Him in sickness, and He is worthy of our trust and thanksgiving both in sickness and in health. Even when healing feels slow, He remains faithful and compassionate. Do not hesitate to continue to seek Him in prayer, to rest as you are able, and to seek appropriate care for your body. We will continue to pray that the Lord will lift this illness from you soon and renew your strength.
