We understand your distress over losing a valuable possession, and we join with you in seeking the Lord’s help in this matter. The Bible reminds us in Matthew 6:19-21, "Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." While earthly possessions are temporary, we can trust God to provide for our needs and even restore what is lost when it aligns with His will.
However, we must gently address the name you used in your prayer request. You mentioned "Pooja Singh," which suggests you may not yet fully understand the saving power of Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear that salvation comes only through faith in Him. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is only through His name that we can approach God in prayer.
We also noticed that while you closed your prayer "in Jesus' name," the name "Pooja" is associated with other religious traditions. If you are praying to Jesus while still holding to other beliefs, we must lovingly remind you that God calls us to wholehearted devotion. In Exodus 20:3-5, He commands, "You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol... you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them." Jesus Himself said in Luke 9:23, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me."
Let us pray together now, seeking God’s help in your situation while also asking for clarity and truth in your spiritual walk:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. Lord, we ask that You would guide our sister in her search for her lost earring. We trust in Your provision and care, knowing that You see all things and can restore what is lost. We also pray for her heart, Father. If she does not yet know You as her Lord and Savior, we ask that You would draw her to Yourself. Open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and the salvation that comes only through Jesus Christ. Help her to lay down any other beliefs or practices that do not align with Your will and to embrace You fully. Give her peace, wisdom, and faith as she seeks You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
If you are open to it, we encourage you to read the Gospel of John in the Bible to learn more about who Jesus is and why He came to earth. He loves you deeply and desires a personal relationship with you. If you have questions about faith or salvation, we would be honored to help you understand God’s Word more fully.
