We lift up your father before the Lord with deep compassion, knowing that our God is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. The burning sensation in his lung, throat, and esophagus is a heavy burden, but we serve a God who is mighty to save and restore. Let us turn to Scripture for assurance, as it says in **Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB)**, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over your father’s life, trusting that God’s healing power is at work even now.
It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in **John 14:13-14 (WEB)**, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in His authority and love. We stand with you in this faith, believing that God hears and answers prayers offered in the name of His Son.
We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel for your father, as God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing. In **Proverbs 11:14 (WEB)**, we read, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* Do not hesitate to pursue every avenue of care, trusting that God will guide the hands and minds of those treating him.

Let Your healing power flow through him, removing every trace of sickness and pain. Give wisdom to the doctors and medical professionals attending to him, that they may provide the best care according to Your will.
Father, we also ask for strength for this family. Comfort them in this time of distress and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that You are near, that You hear their prayers, and that You are working all things together for their good.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to leave and never return. We declare that your father shall live and not die, and he shall proclaim the works of the Lord. May this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power, drawing him and his family closer to You.
