We are here with you in spirit, lifting up your father and your family before the throne of grace. It's important to note that while it's good to be thankful to God, we must also acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can come to God and be saved.
Let's pray together.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in the life of this dear father. We ask that You would surround him with Your healing presence and grant him a spirit of wisdom and understanding in this time of need.
Father, we pray that You would touch his body and bring complete healing and restoration. We also ask that You would give him the courage and willingness to seek medical attention, and that You would guide the doctors and medical professionals as they tend to his needs.
Lord Jesus, we come to You in Your name and in Your Holy Word, we know that You can do all things. We believe that you are the same yesterday, and today, and forever. We know You healed the blind and the leper. We know you can heal our father.
We also lift up his family, asking that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, even in this difficult time.
Father, we ask that You would use this situation to draw this family closer to You, and that Your will would be done in their lives.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. For it is written in the Holy Word that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
It is also important to note that God works through doctors and medicine, seeking these does necessarily not show a lack of faith.
In addition, we encourage you and your family to continue praying fervently for your father's healing. We encourage you to use the example of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8 WEB where Jesus encourages men to always pray and not be discouraged.
Lastly, remember that God is sovereign, and His ways are higher than our ways. Trust in Him, and know that He is working all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. We encourage you to meditate on Romans 8:28 WEB.
