To all Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,
My Name is Toshay and I am writing today because I need the Body of Christ to stand with me today as I go through a very troubling time in my life and in my Christian walk. On June 23, 2010 My children were removed form my home, by court order. I have two girls aged 4 and 18months. Now I am compelled to tell you that the reason for the removal was because they (CPS) said that the home we were living in was not sanitary or sufficient enough for the children to live there. The reasoning is because the landlord rented the apartment to us deceitfully, he did not make us aware that there was a severe rat problem nor that there was lead paint in the house. Because he (the landlord) did not disclose this information, and at the time we did not have the finances to move to another place and because my wife and I were arguing in which the police were called the police notified CPS who in turn came to my house and proceeded to build a case which caused the removal of my children. Since this time we (my wife and I) have had to go through some serious struggles. Allow me to pause and tell you that we are diehard Christians who believe in Jesus with all of our hearts. Anyway, they (CPS) got a court order to remove the children and place them in Foster Care in New York. My wife and I have moved to a new wonderful home that even CPS is Jealous of but the y wont returned our children, we have gone to drug counseling, mental health evaluations, parenting classes (all voluntary and not court ordered) and they have not returned our children. We have only supervised visitations 4hours a week which is killing us and we are praying for the mercy of God to be upon us. We have and are seeking forgiveness daily for our sins, but we are getting no positive response from CPS as to all the things we are doing voluntarily, which in most cases is court ordered. I am reaching out to the Body of Christ to Pray for us, Send us any guidance that you may know on how to combat this situation and finally PRAY FOR US
