We have read your request and we join with you in bringing your family and your burdens before our Father in heaven in Jesus' name.
We hear your thankfulness even as you call yourself a sinner, and we hear your fear and tension about this debt of 2 lakhs that you have been asked to repay by the end of October. We also hear your desire for your family to remain in good health and for the year 2027 to be a year of open doors and change. We thank God with you for His countless helps to you and your family until now, for every good gift comes from Him and we are to give thanks in all circumstances as it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:18.
We want to gently share with you that you closed your request trusting in God and saying Amen, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God in Romans 3:23, and the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord in Romans 6:23. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name, for whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved in Romans 10:13.
Regarding your family's health and your hope for open doors in 2027, we pray with you for these things according to God's will. We love how the apostle prayed Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers in 3 John 1:2, and we remember that God forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:3. We also pray that God would open doors that He wants opened and close doors that should remain closed, for He promises to guide those who seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well in Matthew 6:33. Our hope is not simply for a good year by our own definition, but for a year that brings you and your family closer to Him and conforms you more to His will.
We also want to speak to the fear and sleeplessness you feel about this debt. We understand the weight of owing money and feeling that you have nowhere to turn. God tells us to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:6-7. He also promises I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety in Psalm 4:8. We encourage you to bring this anxiety to Him each night instead of carrying it alone.
Concerning the debt itself, Scripture teaches us Owe no one anything, except to love one another in Romans 13:8 and The wicked borrow, and do not pay back in Psalm 37:21. We commend you for wanting to repay what you owe and for being honest about the pressure you feel. We would encourage you not to simply take on another debt to pay the former without wise counsel and a clear plan, for The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty in Proverbs 21:5. While we pray for God's provision, whether through this aunty or through other honest means He may provide, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel, to communicate honestly with those you owe, to work diligently, and to steward what God gives you faithfully. We trust the promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:19, but His supply may come through work, through wisdom to manage expenses, through extended time from creditors, or through unexpected help, always in His perfect timing and way.
So we pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior. We thank You for Your countless mercies to this dear one and to their family, for You have sustained them and helped them time and again. We thank You for their grateful heart. Lord, we lift up this family to You and ask for Your hand of protection over their health, and above all that their souls would prosper in You. We ask for Your will to be done in the year 2027 and for every day until then, that You would open the doors that You desire for them and give them grace to walk through them faithfully, and to trust You with doors that remain closed.
Lord, You see this debt of 2 lakhs and the deadline at the end of October and the fear and sleepless nights it has caused. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Grant them sleep and rest in You. Grant wisdom to handle money in a way that honors You. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and give them favor and honesty in dealing with those they owe and with this aunty and any others involved. Help them to be a faithful testimony by repaying what is owed and by living within the means You provide. Lead them away from hasty decisions and into diligent, honest planning, and help them to trust You rather than to be overwhelmed by tension.
We pray that they would know deeply the love and forgiveness found only in Jesus, and that they would rest fully in Him. Draw them closer to You through this trial, that they may know You as their provider, healer, and peace. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our hope. Amen.
We encourage you to keep praying in Jesus' name, to stay in His Word daily, to seek wise and godly counsel in your local church about your finances, and to keep thanking Him as you have been. God is faithful, and He hears the prayers offered through His Son. We are standing with you and trusting God to work for your good and His glory.
