Prayer Warrior
I am asking for prayers for my daughter today. My daughter came home from school and for the second time this year someone has stolen something of hers. My daughter had a presentation in class and had to use her memory stick for the presentation. She came home from school yesterday and was upset because she cannot find her memory stick. She told the teacher and the students that it is missing. She doesn't really remember whether she took it out of the computer after the presentation, but she must have because someone else presented after her and they had to use their own memory stick. I feel sad because I have had several talks with my daughter about putting things in her pocket or shoe if she has no place to put her things. She did not put it in her back pack in the zippered part because it is not there. I have told her that I am disappointed that she is easily distracted and can't seem to manage some of her things. She has lots of good points to her though. I told her she will have to use her birthday money to buy another memory stick for school as I am not buying another one for her. Lord, I pray that her memory will appear. I pray that if someone has it that they will show their Christmas spirit and give it back to her. I also pray that my daughter learn to prioritize her things. And not lose focus on what she should be doing. I feel sad because the words I used to her upset her yesterday. And I pray that I can learn to hide my disappointment in her more better. Lord, please help me to be a better mom. I know the memory stick is just a material thing but it is very disappointing to me that she loses and misplaces things. Also, I truly do not know what happened to her things. Anyone could have taken it, when she was distracted with something else during her presentation. Lord, please forgive me for my sins. I pray that my daughter will learn and that she will still love me.
