We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your father Bernard Dcunha in earnest prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every part of our bodies and knows them intimately. We ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon Bernard, touching his stomach and relieving him of this relentless pain and cramping that has caused him such distress. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Lord, we claim this promise over Bernard’s life, trusting that You will reveal the source of his suffering and bring complete healing.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors attending to him. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Father, guide the medical team to uncover what may be hidden from their tests and understanding, that they may provide the care Bernard needs. We ask that You would comfort him in his pain, granting him peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:7 promises.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or affliction that may be attacking his body. In the name of Jesus, we command every cell, organ, and system in Bernard’s body to align with Your perfect design for health and wholeness. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that he will walk in divine health, as 3 John 1:2 declares, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."
We also lift up the family during this time of uncertainty. May You grant them strength, patience, and unwavering faith as they wait on You. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will for Bernard’s life. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
