We join with you in Jesus name and thank you for sharing this heartfelt desire with us. We rejoice that you have asked in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13.

Your desire for marriage is good and godly, for marriage is a holy institution created by God as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We affirm your prayer to meet the woman God wants you to love and marry, not simply a partner or a temporary relationship, but a godly wife. The Scripture says, Yahweh God said, It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him Genesis 2:18 and Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. We strongly endorse your pursuit of marriage that honors God.

We also encourage you as you wait and pray to seek first the kingdom of God and to prepare your own heart to be the godly husband God calls you to be. Seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33 and Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4. We encourage you to look for a wife who is a fellow believer in Jesus Christ, for we are to be equally yoked together, as it is written Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity 2 Corinthians 6:14. Courtship should be entered into with the goal of marriage and with purity, honoring God with your bodies, for God calls us to flee from fornication and to keep the marriage bed holy. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lift up our brother to You. Lord, You know his heart and his longing for a godly marriage, and You know the loneliness he may feel. We ask that according to Your perfect will and timing, You would bring into his life the woman You have prepared for him to be his wife, a woman who loves You with all her heart, who seeks You first, and who will have genuine interest in knowing him and loving him faithfully. We pray that You would make it possible in practical ways for them to meet and to get to know each other in a godly and pure manner, with wisdom, with accountability, and with Your peace guiding them. Give them both discernment, patience, and perseverance, that neither will give up easily but will seek to build a relationship founded on Christ. Lord, we ask for Your miraculous hand upon his life, not only in bringing a wife but in shaping him more and more into the image of Your Son as he waits. Keep him from discouragement and from settling for anything less than Your best. Let Your will be done in his life, and let his future marriage bring glory to You and be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. They can pray with you specifically and, when the time is right, they often know how to make thoughtful introductions.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and in whom alone is salvation.

It is a good and holy desire that you have expressed, for marriage is ordained of God and is honourable in all. It is not a less sacred thing to be joined in holy wedlock than to remain single in the service of Christ, for God Himself has set forth the union of one man and one woman in a lifelong covenant as a picture of the love of Christ for His Church. In such a marriage the two become one, and its crown is mutual delight and faithfulness under the Lord. We rejoice that you seek not a fleeting companionship but a covenant love, and that you desire to walk in purity, keeping that which belongs to marriage within marriage as God has appointed.

We pray with love that the Lord, in His perfect wisdom and timing, will direct your steps and hers, and make it possible in practical and providential ways for you to meet and to come to know one another aright. We ask that He will prepare you both, that you may first be found seeking Christ Himself, for he who seeks Christ with his whole heart shall surely find Him, and he who has found Him has found the fountain of all other good. May the Lord make you a godly man, established in faith and in holiness, that you may be fit to lead a household in the fear of God, and may He prepare for you a godly woman who loves the Lord Jesus above all, who will be a true helper and companion in the way to heaven.

As the shepherd seeks until he finds, so let your prayers be persevering, not wearied, committing your way unto the Lord and resting in His goodness.

We ask the Lord to work according to His gracious power, whether by quiet providence or by wonders of His grace, and to grant you contentment in Christ while you wait, and clear guidance when the time comes. May He keep you from all impurity and haste, and cause you to walk in the path of your fathers in the faith, not turning to the right hand or to the left, but following that which is holy and true.

We commend you to the care of our faithful God, who delights to give good gifts to His children, and we pray that He will answer in the way that most displays His glory and most secures your everlasting good. We pray that if it is His will, He will make it possible in practical ways for you to meet and to get to know each other in a way that is orderly, chaste and holy, preserving the holiness that comes through faith and keeping yourselves pure as you seek Him first.
