Your desire to find a wife and enter into marriage is a good and godly desire, and I am thankful you have brought it to the Lord in prayer. God Himself instituted marriage from the beginning as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and He understands your longing for companionship, love, and a family that honors Him.
Scripture helps us see how God views marriage. Under the law of Moses there was even a provision to preserve a family name when a brother died without children, which shows how much God cares about family, continuity, and faithfulness in this life. When Jesus was questioned about that same law, He affirmed that the dead will indeed rise, and He taught that marriage belongs to this present age. In the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage but will be as the angels in heaven. That means the gift of marriage is for now, in this life, and it is right for you to seek it with prayer and wisdom while God gives you time and opportunity here.
I will pray for you in the name of Jesus, that God in His mercy and power would work in practical ways to bring you together with the woman He has for you, if it is His will for you to marry. I pray that He would lead you to a woman who truly loves Him first, who has a genuine interest in knowing you, and who will love you with patience and commitment. I pray that He would make a way for you to get to know each other in honest, pure, and orderly ways, and that He would give you both discernment and perseverance so that neither of you gives up lightly but seeks to build trust and faithfulness.
I also pray that God would prepare you as you wait. Ask Him to make you the kind of man who will love a wife as Christ loves His people, with kindness, humility, and self control, keeping yourself pure and reserving intimacy for marriage alone. Waiting can be difficult, and those who seek to live in a godly way in Christ will at times face disappointment or hardship, but God uses those seasons to deepen roots and strengthen character. Do not let waiting make you critical or quick to find fault with others or with God. Instead keep your heart open, keep walking closely with Jesus, trusting Him from day to day as one who has believed and followed Him, and keep asking Him to do what only He can do. He is able to do miracles, and He hears the prayers of those who seek Him sincerely.
May the Lord give you peace as you trust His timing, wisdom to recognize His leading, and hope as you look to Him for your future.
