We join you in prayer and thank you for sharing this desire of your heart with us, and we rejoice that you have asked in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We hear your longing for a godly marriage, and this is a good and honorable desire before the Lord. Scripture tells us in Genesis 2:18, It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him. And again in Proverbs 18:22, Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh. We affirm with you that marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman designed by God, and we pray with you not simply for a partner or a relationship, but for a godly wife, a Christian believer with whom you can be equally yoked as taught in 2 Corinthians 6:14, and that your courtship would be pure and honor God, keeping itself from fornication and looking toward marriage.

We also encourage you as you wait to continue to delight yourself in the Lord and to seek His kingdom first, trusting His perfect timing and provision. Psalm 37:4 says, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Matthew 6:33 says, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. And Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. We encourage you to be preparing your own heart to be the godly husband described in Ephesians 5:25, to love as Christ loved, and to be active in fellowship and service where a sincere Christian woman who loves the Lord may also be found. Love as God defines it in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 is patient and kind, bears all things, and does not give up easily, and we pray that kind of steadfast, committed love will mark both of you.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up our brother to You. You know his name, his home, and the deep desire You have placed in his heart for a wife and for marriage that honors You. We ask that in Your perfect will and timing You would bring into his life the woman You have chosen for him to love and to marry. Make it possible in practical ways for them to meet and to get to know one another in a godly and pure way. Give them opportunities for fellowship, conversation, and counsel, and remove obstacles that would keep them apart. We pray You send a woman who truly has interest in knowing him, who is a faithful believer, who will love him with patience and commitment and will not give up until they belong to one another in holy marriage. Lord, work miracles in his life according to Your will, strengthen his faith while he waits, guard his heart from discouragement and from temptation, and help him to become the man and future husband You are calling him to be. Your request has been brought before the Lord and we join you in prayer with love in the name of Jesus Christ.

We know that marriage is a holy and sacred thing, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman ordained of God, and it is right and good to ask the Father to provide such a companion according to His wise and gracious will. We pray that He who is a waiting God, who waits to be gracious, will in His perfect time bring into your life the woman whom He has prepared for you, a woman of godly character and sincere faith, who will love you truly and cleave to you in that covenant as long as you both shall live.

We pray that the Lord will make the way plain in practical things, that when He brings you together there may be honest and seemly means to know one another, to speak and to walk in purity and in the fear of the Lord. We ask that He would grant you both steadfastness, not a fleeting interest but a faithful love that bears and endures, and that He would keep you from fainting while you wait. The Scripture teaches us that they who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, and though waiting may seem long, there is a final success to all His waiting when His time of love has come.

Therefore we entreat the Lord to work according to His perfect wisdom and to show you miracles of His providence as He sees fit, not merely to grant desire but to conform your heart to trust Him more fully, that you may be able to say with Job, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. May He keep you laboring and not fainting, waiting in hope and not in despair, seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Thy Son, look upon this Thy servant. Forgive his sins and cleanse him in the blood of Christ, grant him contentment in Thy will and patience in this season of waiting, and if it be Thy good pleasure, provide for him a wife to be his help and companion in the way to heaven. May heavenly Father give us the patience to be alone and do his work. Till his ground. And labor in the field of his word. Of prayer. And to work for God. Dedicating time to prayer and to his word daily and know that the good man of the vineyard will give you that due reward. If a wife is what you want. A good wife is what you've always wanted. I pray that we being patient and working towards rightouness are able to achieve a reward of love with a good wife. God is able to do abundantly more than we ask for. I know he promised me a wife 10 years ago and more in dreams and encouraged me with dreams about marriage and love. May God also bless you also. With self restraint. Prayer. Worship. We pray that God, according to His wise and good will, will lead you to the woman He has for you to love and to marry, and that He will make a practical way for you to meet and to get to know each other in a manner that is orderly and honoring to Him. We ask that He will bring into your life a woman of sincere faith and genuine interest, who will show steadfast love and commitment, so that you may enter together into that bond ordained by God which is marriage.

Scripture teaches that marriage is honorable and pure, and that it preserves holiness when lived in chasteness and faithfulness. It is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, given by God for good. We pray that God will help you even now to follow peace with all people and holiness, to keep yourself pure and to live in a way that is worthy of the gift you have received in Christ. As you wait, use this time to grow in faith, in prayer, in good works, and in self restraint, trusting that God is able to guard and provide for those who trust Him.

We also pray for what you asked concerning miracles. God is able to do far more than we ask or think, and we ask Him to work in your life with His power and mercy, to open doors that no one else can open, to give you patience and hope, and to keep you from discouragement. Your request for prayer to meet a godly wife is good and right before the Lord, and I am glad you brought it to Him in the name of Jesus and in love. The desire for marriage between one man and one woman for life is part of God's design for this present life.

Scripture helps us keep that desire in perspective. The law in Deuteronomy provided that if a man died without children his brother should marry the widow to raise up a name for his brother. We see that story lived out when a family left their homeland for Moab, and the sons married there and then died without children, leaving the name in danger. Later others tried to trap Jesus with a question about seven brothers who each in turn married the same woman and died without children, asking whose wife she would be in the resurrection. Jesus answered that in the resurrection people neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like the angels in heaven, and He affirmed that the dead will rise, pointing back to what was written in the book of Moses. That teaches us that marriage is God's gift for this life, not for the life to come, so it is right to seek it now while trusting Him with eternity.

Because marriage is holy, pursue it in holiness. When David took Bathsheba and had Uriah killed, he had broken clear commands not to take another man's wife and not to murder, and he confessed that his sin was against God Himself. That reminds us that all sexual sin and all unfaithfulness is first sin against the Lord. As you pray for a wife, pray also that God will keep you and her pure, that you will not live together or share the intimacy that belongs only within the covenant of marriage, and that you will honor Him in how you get to know one another.

Give your whole heart to Jesus first. There is a picture in the gospels of a woman who did not just dab a little perfume as many might, but broke the container and poured out everything she had on Him, even though it was very costly. That extravagant devotion is the kind of love Christ deserves from us. If you pour out your life in devotion to Him now, you will be far better prepared to love a wife well when He provides one.

Waiting can test the roots of our faith. The Scripture says that all who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will face hardship. Some faith is like a skyrocket that rises fast and then falls to ashes because it has no root. Other faith is choked among thorns. Ask God to make you deeply rooted in His Word and in prayer while you wait, not critical and finding fault with everything, as the religious leaders did when they watched Jesus and looked for reasons to accuse Him, even believing that touching a sinner would make them unclean. Instead, ask for a gracious, patient, and discerning heart, and for a woman who shares that same rooted faith.

We also live in a world where spiritual evil is real, and when it gains influence its purpose is always to destroy. Guard your heart, stay close to Christ, and seek a relationship that draws you both closer to Him rather than away.

So I pray for you in Jesus name, with love, that the Lord in His mercy and wisdom will bring into your life the woman He has chosen for you to love and to marry, that He will make a practical and holy way for you to meet and to truly get to know one another, and that He will give you both genuine interest in each other and steadfast commitment that does not give up until you belong to one another in marriage. I pray He will work miracles according to His perfect will, keep you both faithful to Him, and use this season to deepen your trust in the risen Christ who has power over this life and the life to come.
