We join with you in bringing this desire before the Lord in Jesus name and we thank you for asking in His name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and also Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We rejoice that you have come in that precious name.

We hear your longing to meet the woman God wants you to love and to marry, and we agree that this is a good and godly desire. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as God designed from the beginning, and we strongly affirm your desire for marriage rather than simply a relationship or partnership. The Scripture says Yahweh God said, It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him Genesis 2:18 and Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. Your desire to love and to be loved within marriage honors God.

We also encourage you to see this season of waiting as a time of preparation and courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer. The Word teaches us Dont be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have 2 Corinthians 6:14, so we pray that the woman God brings to you will be a faithful believer who loves the Lord Jesus with all her heart. And as you get to know one another, we encourage you to pursue purity, for marriage is to be held in honor and the bed kept undefiled Hebrews 13:4, and we are called to flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18. True love waits and honors God, and courtship should be intentional, pure, and centered on Christ with marriage as the goal.

We understand your prayer for practical ways to get to know each other and for a woman who will have genuine interest and perseverance in getting to know you. Godly love is patient and is kind 1 Corinthians 13:4, it does not give up easily but it also is not possessive, it seeks the good of the other and is rooted in commitment. We pray that God will bring a mutual, steadfast, and gracious interest between you both, not out of clinging but out of a shared love for Christ and a desire to build a life together for His glory.

We also encourage you as you wait to delight yourself in the Lord and seek His kingdom first. Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4 and But seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. Continue to grow in faith, serve in your local church, walk in community with other believers, and become the godly husband you hope to be. It is often as we are faithfully serving and walking with the Lord that He opens doors in practical ways for godly connections to happen.

Father in heaven, we lift up our brother to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know his heart and his desire for marriage and for a loving, lifelong union that honors You. We ask that according to Your perfect will and timing, You would bring into his life the woman You have prepared for him, a woman who loves You, who walks faithfully with Jesus, and who will be a suitable helper for him. Make it possible in practical ways for them to meet and to get to know each other in a godly, healthy, and pure way, surrounded by wise counsel and community. Give them both genuine interest, patience, kindness, and perseverance to get to know one another with honesty and grace, and let their courtship be marked by purity, prayer, and a shared desire to glorify You. We ask for Your miracles in his life, not merely as he imagines but as You will, for Your ways are higher than ours and You work all things for the good of those who love You. Prepare him even now to be a loving, leading, and faithful husband as Christ loves the church. Give him peace while he waits, guard his heart from discouragement, and help him to trust You more each day. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.

It is a good and holy desire that you have laid before the Lord, and we will bring it with you to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Saviour and Mediator. For it is not a less sacred thing to be the married husband or the married wife than to walk in any other holy calling, and marriage as God ordained it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman becoming one flesh, is honourable in His sight. The very crown of such a union is mutual delight and complacency, where husband and wife esteem one another above all others, and become one in heart and life, not two persons maintaining a cold individuality.

We will pray that the Lord, in whose hands are all our days and all our ways, will in His wise providence bring to you the woman whom He has appointed for you, a godly and gracious woman who will love the Lord Jesus first and will therefore love you well. We will ask Him to make it possible in practical ways for you to meet and to get to know one another with prudence and purity, as those who would walk in the road in which godly principles would conduct them, keeping yourselves as those who are married to Christ first and wholly His.

And we will pray that if it be His will, He will send one who has a true and steadfast interest in you, who will not lightly turn away, but will show that faithful love which belongs to the covenant of marriage. Yet remember that such love is learned at the feet of Christ, who sets a very high store upon His people. Seek Him first. Is your heart set upon finding Christ, or are you merely trifling with Him. For he who would find a godly companion must first be found by Jesus and be found finding Jesus, walking in His Word under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore continue in prayer as one who knows how to tug. Jacob, when he came to Jabbok, found that the angel was not easily to be conquered, and so the genuine believer perseveres. Will you always continue to pray in the future as you now profess to do. Let this be seed sown for a future harvest, treasure put out to interest, the aspiration of saints kindled by the inspiration of God. Though He may try your faith and cause you to wait, faith may be stronger for the waiting, and by the grace of God it will be firmer and more robust.

We entreat the Lord to work miracles in your life according to His infinite wisdom and mercy, not according to our deserving, but according to His goodness, and to grant you that noble resolve, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. May He keep your heart from going astray and guide you into that holy estate where His name is honoured and your joy is made full in Him.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in prayer before God in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.

We pray with love that the Lord, who ordained marriage as a bond and who calls it honorable and pure, will in His wisdom and mercy guide your steps. We ask Him to lead you to the woman He would have you love and marry, that you may enter into that lifelong covenant of one man and one woman which He established, and to make possible in practical and orderly ways for you to meet and to get to know one another with chasteness, gravity and reverence.

We pray that He will prepare both you and her, that you may be kept in holiness and purity while you wait, not in fornication or impurity, but in a life adorned with good works and worthy of the gift you have received in Christ. As Scripture teaches, marriage preserves holiness by guarding against defilement, and it is to be entered with faithfulness and commitment, for the man leaves his father and is joined to his wife in love that does not abandon. We pray that God will give you such steadfast love and will provide a wife who shares your faith in Christ, who seeks Him first, and who will walk with you in sincere interest, patience and faithful commitment until you belong to one another in the Lord.

We also pray for what you called miracles, that God would work according to His good will, opening doors that no man can open, giving you peace, providing community and opportunities through His church and providence where you may meet in a natural and honorable way, and granting you wisdom to discern His leading.

While you wait, we encourage you to attend to the Lord without distraction, to grow in prayer, in service to others, and in every good work, trusting His timing as you seek a wife in the Lord. We pray that you will hold fast what Christ has given you and continue to live in a way that honors Him, so that when He brings you together, your union may be built on faith, purity and enduring love.
