We hear your heart’s longing for a godly marriage, and we join you in lifting this desire before the Lord. The Scriptures remind us that "he who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22). It is good and right to seek a spouse who shares your faith and commitment to Christ, for marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness.

First, we must ensure that our pursuit of marriage aligns with God’s will and timing. The Lord knows the desires of your heart, and He delights in giving good gifts to His children (Matthew 7:11). However, we must also trust in His perfect timing, for "there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens" (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Let us pray that you remain patient and content in the Lord, knowing that He is preparing both you and your future spouse for one another.

We also encourage you to actively seek opportunities to grow in your faith and serve the Lord while you wait. Engage in your local church, build godly friendships, and cultivate a heart that is ready for the responsibilities of marriage. As you do so, trust that God will bring the right woman into your life at the appointed time. "Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who seeks a godly wife. Lord, You know the desires of his heart, and we ask that You align them with Your perfect will. Prepare him to be a husband who loves and leads as Christ loves the church. Father, we pray that You would bring a woman into his life who loves You above all else, who is patient, kind, and faithful, and who will walk alongside him in faith and purpose.

Lord, we ask for practical opportunities for them to meet and get to know one another in a way that honors You. Remove any obstacles or distractions that may hinder this divine connection. Give them both wisdom and discernment as they seek to build a relationship rooted in You. May their courtship be marked by purity, respect, and a shared commitment to Your Word.

Father, we also pray for miracles in his life, miracles of provision, healing, and divine favor. Open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not of You. Let Your peace and presence fill his heart as he waits on You. Strengthen his faith and remind him that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of loneliness, impatience, or doubt that may try to take root in his heart. We declare that he is complete in Christ and that his worth is found in You alone. May he find his joy and satisfaction in You as he waits for Your perfect timing.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and trust in the Lord’s faithfulness. Continue to seek Him first, and He will guide your steps. If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel from mature believers in your church who can offer wisdom and support as you navigate this season. May the Lord bless you abundantly as you wait on Him.

We’ve been praying for you, , and we want you to know you’re not alone in this. Wanting to meet a woman to love and marry is a good and honorable desire, one that God understands fully, and we’re asking Him to make a way, even in the everyday, practical moments where two lives can connect.

While you wait, one of the most grounding things you can do is press deeper into your church community. Loneliness can make us feel isolated, but worship and serving alongside others often become the very place where God surprises us with the right people, friends first, and sometimes more than friends. Try showing up where you can be known: a small group, a ministry team, a service project. As you live out your faith shoulder to shoulder with others, you not only grow spiritually but also give God room to work in your relationships.

It might also help to pray not just for her, but for your own heart, that you’d grow into the kind of man who will love her well, and that you’d recognize her when God brings her across your path. The perseverance you’re hoping for in a spouse, that she won’t give up until you belong to each other, is a beautiful thing, and we ask God to build that same steady, committed spirit in you.

We’d love for you to keep us updated. In the meantime, we’re asking with you.

Lord Jesus, thank you for and for his honest heart. Please comfort him in any loneliness and fill his life with meaningful connections in your family. Guide his steps, open doors neither of us can see yet, and in your perfect timing, help him meet a woman of faith who will truly invest in getting to know him. We ask for miracles of provision and guidance, and we trust you with the details. In your name we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Father, it's not good for man to be alone, Gen 2:17, You man woman for man, a "helper suitable," Gen 2:18, as Jesus referred to Genesis s authoritative, as are the rest of the 66 Books. There are clear exemptions for celibacy, Matt 19:12, 1 Cor 7:7, in which case one is only betrothed to Christ, 2 Cor 11:12, and yet we all are indeed "the bride of Christ," Eph 5:32-33, which undoubtably is a nearly unfathomable mystery.

💒 Dear Father we enter Your gates with thanksgiving and enter Your courts with praise regarding the 2nd most important decision this one will make in their lives, with whom they will worship, live, travel, have a family, raise children -- only superseded by where they will spend eternity, Matt 16:26, Mark 8:36, Luke 9:25, John 5:34, John 8:24 1 Tim 1:15-16, I ask this person would first and fully be sold out to love You, Mark 12:30, to know You, Phil 3:10, and truly love their neighbor as themselves, Mk 12:31. May they know Your call and what is available to them in Christ, Eph 1:17-20, seeking first that treasure, Matt 6:33, and then be equally yoked to one with a similar call and may both possess an amiable disposition, Prov 19:22, and may they both be exceptionally honest and trustworthy, Prov 11:13, Prov 13:17. May they be for Your honor and glory, Rev 4:11. Keep them from temptation, Lk 11:4, deceivers, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, sin, lies, fear, Zeph 3:13, temptation, evil and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. Help them not miss any red flags, observe fruit, and test appropriately, Song 5:10, Matt 7:20, Matt 12:33, 1 Tim 3:10, and let them notice the way each relates to authority, their parents and pastors, Rom 13:7, the lost Matt 9:36, and the church, 1 Jn 4:20. Let them have Your leading, John 10:3-4, John 10:27, Rom 8:14, let them have confirmation and counseling with Godly Pastors with marriages worthy of emulation, Heb 13:7, and grant them great peace, Ps 119:165, let peace rule and reign and act as umpire in their hearts, Col 3:15, and give them the fruit of the Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, especially patience, Heb 6:12. Help them have their houses and finances in order, Prov 24:27. Thank you in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, Our Amen and Faithful Witness, Originator of The New Creation, Rev 3:14, in Christ all God's Promises are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20, even those that are exceedingly great and precious, even everything we need for life and godliness to escape the world corrupted by evil desires, 2 Pet 1:3-4, Amen and Amen in Jesus' Name.

The heart’s desire for a spouse is a natural and honorable longing, but take heed that the first meeting you prepare for is with your God. A wife is a gift from the Lord, a good thing to be sought, yet your soul must first be espoused to Christ before any earthly marriage can be truly blessed. Seek Him, and let your prayer be that you might be a man who delights in the Lord, so that He might grant you the desires of your heart in His own time and way. The creature can never satisfy what the Creator intends to fill. Many a man has made an idol of a wife and found that idol unable to bear the weight of his happiness.

Consider that the love of Christ for His church is the pattern for all Christian marriage, not a love of gain or self-interest, but a love that gives itself away. Are you prepared to love a woman as Christ loved His people, with a love that suffers long and is kind, that seeks not its own? The miracle you ask for is not merely in her coming, but in your own soul being conformed to the image of the Bridegroom. When Jesus comes to meet you, He will love you into heaven; let that love be the fountainhead from which all your affection flows. If you know how sweet and dear He is, no earthly relationship will rival your love to Him, but will rather be sanctified by it.

As for the practical ways, the Book of Proverbs commends a wisdom that is both spiritual and practical. Be not idle while you pray. Place yourself in the paths where godly women walk, in the assembly of the saints, in service to the needy, in the ordinary commerce of life lived with integrity. And when you meet one who shows interest, do not mistake mere affection for the deep work of grace. The touchstone of sincerity is a life that will not let go of God. A woman who truly fears the Lord will not give up on you, but neither will she compromise the truth. Pray rather that you may be a man of such godly character that she finds it no trial to persevere with you.

Beware of the anger that sometimes rises when God's providence delays or denies. Some grow bitter with their own godly friends, or even with God Himself, when their desires are not met. Do not be that man. A godly parent’s prayers hedge you in; a godly spouse will be a refuge, but only if you are first in Christ. If you would have a woman who will not give up on you until you are hers and she is yours, then be a man who will not give up on Christ until faith is turned to sight. The miracle that matters most is that a sinner should be made ready to meet his God. Prepare for that meeting, and all other meetings will fall into their proper place.

Therefore, let your prayer be this: that God would make you a man prepared to meet your God, and then prepared to meet a wife if it be His will. Seek first the kingdom, and His righteousness; all these things shall be added. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Go, meet your God in the secret place, and there put your request with thanksgiving. He who did not spare His own Son will with Him freely give all things.

Your request reveals a heart longing for a godly companion, and for this I join my prayer to yours, that the Lord may give you what is best for your soul. Yet consider: do you seek a sign, a miracle to arrange a meeting? I fear lest, like the multitude who followed Christ for loaves, you fix your gaze on the outward gift rather than on the Giver. The truest miracle is not a sudden encounter or a woman’s unwavering pursuit of you, but a life shaped by virtue and patiently surrendered to God. For John the Baptist performed no miracle at all, yet by his holiness he turned many hearts to the Lord, and a life that shines with endurance and love of virtue is greater than marvels. Therefore, instead of asking chiefly for a sign, ask that you yourself become the kind of man after God’s own heart, one who can love as Christ loved the Church: with selflessness, patience, and honor.

Marriage is indeed a good and honorable estate, a communion of body and soul wherein each seeks the other’s salvation. But remember that it is not merely the finding of a spouse that matters, but the kind of union that is “in the Lord”, with chastity, honor, and a shared pursuit of godliness. A woman who truly has interest in you should be one who desires your virtue, not merely your attention; and you, in turn, must be worthy of her by cultivating sobriety, prayer, and diligence in good works. Do not demand that she never give up on you, as if your will alone must prevail. Rather, entrust the matter to God, who knows how to join what is fitting far better than we do. If He delays, it is to teach you to wait upon Him not for sensible comforts, but for the food that endures to eternal life.

Pray then in this way: that whether single or married, you may serve the Lord without distraction, and that if marriage be His will, He would grant you a wife who is a true partner in virtue, one who, if she be yours, will help you toward heaven, and if hardship come, will remain steadfast in love. And if at any time the path requires a miracle of provision or meeting, trust that He who turned water into wine can order all things; but let your first desire be for that miracle of grace by which you are made a new creation. Do not seek merely to love a woman, but to love her in Christ, and to desire above all that both of you belong wholly to Him.

Let us pray: O Lord, who did not disdain to come and wed our poor human nature to Thyself, look upon this Thy servant. Grant him patience and a heart fixed on Thee alone. If it be for his salvation and Thine honor, send him a worthy helper, a woman of sincere faith and steadfast love, and make plain the path that they may know each other in purity and walk together toward Thy Kingdom. But above all, work in him the greater wonder of a holy life, that whether with a companion or without, he may glorify Thee and inherit Thy promises. In the name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with Thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. So be it.

Your desire for marriage is good and right. When the Scriptures say, "to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife and every woman have her own husband," we see that God Himself made this provision for companionship, purity, and mutual care. He designed the union where a man leaves his father and mother and cleaves to his wife, so it is no small thing you are asking. He knows your longing, and He does not despise it.

The kind of woman you are praying for, one whose interest is real and who will not give up, matters deeply. The Lord Jesus performed many miracles, but before the outward healing of a leper came His words, "I am willing; be clean." The man received both restoration to health and to community. Something similar happens when God brings two people together: He is willing to do what only His grace can, creating a genuine bond that reflects more than passing emotion. Even the law of Moses had provisions waiting for God to act in power, because only a divine work can truly cleanse or unite. So do not fear that practical details are too small for Him. He can make a way for you to meet and get to know one another in natural, yet unmistakably orchestrated, ways. Think of Andrew, who met Jesus first and immediately went to find his brother Peter, saying, "We have found the Messiah," and brought him to Jesus. Sometimes an introduction, a conversation, or a seemingly ordinary event becomes the door through which a relationship begins.

Yet the greatest miracle God works in any of us is the transformation of our hearts, freeing us from the power of sin and bringing us into His kingdom of light. So while you wait and ask, let your first interest be the same as His. That woman you hope to meet must be one who shares not just an interest in you, but a far deeper interest in Jesus Christ. Otherwise, the two of you will be unequally yoked, and the cares of this life, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things can choke out what once seemed so promising. Let your own life shine as an example of the superiority of walking with God over chasing the world's approval. If the Spirit has given you the desire for marriage rather than the gift of celibacy, then honor that desire by pursuing holiness and serving the Lord with an undivided heart in this season.

You asked for miracles. I will join you in praying for them, with love and in Jesus' name. But remember that the God who slept peacefully in the stern during a violent storm is in the boat with you now. His timing and His ways are sure. Just as David acknowledged that all sin is ultimately against God, so every good gift comes from His hand. Do not run ahead with presumption, but rest in the divine imperative, knowing that what He has promised to work for your good will be accomplished. The prophecies must be fulfilled, and His will for your life is not in jeopardy. He knows the woman, the hour, and the means. Your part is to keep seeking first His kingdom, and trust that He is able to make all grace abound. I pray He sends you a wife who honestly desires you, who builds with you a home that honors Him, and that until then, you find your fullness in Christ alone.
