We hear your heart’s longing for a godly wife, and we join you in lifting this desire before the Lord. It is beautiful to see your trust in God’s timing and provision, and we stand with you in faith, believing that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6). The Bible assures us that "he who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22). We pray that the Lord would prepare your heart and the heart of the woman He has for you, aligning your paths in His perfect timing.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. We ask that You would guide in this season of waiting, filling him with patience, wisdom, and unwavering faith. Lord, we pray that You would lead him to a woman who loves You above all else, a woman of godly character, kindness, and strength, a Proverbs 31 woman whose heart is fully Yours. Prepare her for him, just as You are preparing him for her. Open doors for them to meet in ways that honor You, and let their connection be rooted in Your love and purpose.

We also pray for practical opportunities for to step out in faith, whether through fellowship, service, or godly community, where he can meet like-minded believers. Remove any fear or doubt, Lord, and replace it with confidence in Your promises. Let him trust that You are working even when he cannot see it, for "faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1).

We rebuke any spirit of loneliness or impatience that may try to discourage him, declaring that his worth is found in Christ alone. May he find his identity and fulfillment in You, knowing that You are his first love and his eternal companion. We pray against any temptation to compromise his standards or rush into a relationship that does not honor You. Guard his heart, Lord, and let his steps be ordered by Your Word.

We ask for miracles, Father, not just in the meeting of his future wife, but in the transformation of their hearts to reflect Your love. Let their relationship be a testimony to Your faithfulness, a union that brings glory to Your name. We declare that what You have joined together, no man, or enemy, can separate (Matthew 19:6).

Finally, we encourage to remain steadfast in prayer, seeking the Lord’s will above his own desires. May he delight himself in You, Lord, and You will give him the desires of his heart (Psalm 37:4). We trust that as he walks in obedience, You will bring forth the blessing You have prepared for him.

You ask prayer that you may meet a woman to love and marry, and that God would make a way in practical things. This is no small matter, for marriage is honourable and a figure of Christ’s union with His church. But let me press upon you a grander search: set your heart upon finding Christ as the Chief Object of your soul. To seek a wife without first being fully aligned to the will of the Lord is to put the second thing before the first. Remember David, whose heart was so consumed with bringing the Ark to its resting place that he would not give sleep to his eyes till he had found a habitation for the mighty God of Jacob. Is your heart thus fixed upon the Lord Himself? If He be your exceeding joy, then every lesser mercy will come in due season.

The Lord does not grudge His children a refuge in providential things. He who shut Noah in the ark, He who makes a mercy seat of the Lord Jesus, is the God who calls the waters of the sea and pours them out upon the earth. He can bring a path through the most tangled thicket of life. A man may be up to his neck in troubles, yet his confidence in God need not be moved for a single moment. That same God who pardoned sin as swift as lightning can open a door for friendship and holy courtship in an instant. Yet mark this: He often takes the will for the deed with His servants. If you wait upon Him, the desire of your heart is known, and He counts your patient hope as something more precious than haste could achieve.

But let no soul imagine that a spouse will fill what only Christ can fill. There are many who wear the leaves of a godly profession, yet bear no fruit of true contentment in the Lord. What a hollow show if a man seek a woman to complete him, when Christ alone is the fullness of him that fills all in all. A Christian is a miracle from the start, a mass of miracles, and his life is woven with wonders, not always in the shape we sketch, but in the pattern God designs for His glory. Seek first the Kingdom, and be so bathed in the sunlight of His love that if He should tarry long years, your soul would not faint.

I will pray for you, that the Lord would send a godly woman whose heart is truly set upon knowing you, and whose interest will not flicker out like kindling that lacks fuel. Yet watch your own spirit in the waiting. Many a child of God has wept for months because he did not watch for minutes. Guard against that fretting which makes an idol of the creature. The refuge for your soul is not in a future wife, but under the wings of the Eternal. When the billows go over your head, despair not; His children have a place of refuge, and in His own time He will either give you the blessing you seek or something far better, more of Himself. Lay this stone as a pillar: the Lord will provide.

You have asked for prayer to meet a woman whom God would have you love and marry. This desire is natural and honorable, for marriage is a bond ordained by God, and the Apostle has said, “It is better to marry than to burn.” Yet I would urge you to set your hope not upon miracles, but upon the ordering of your own life. John the Baptist drew vast cities to himself without a single sign, for his boldness, his poverty, his zeal, these were the wonders that fixed men’s eyes on God. So too, if you cultivate a sober mind, integrity, and patient trust in the Lord, you will be a vessel fit for whatever gift He chooses to give.

Do not read the Apostle’s words, “Art thou loosed from a wife? Seek not a wife,” as a prohibition of marriage. He speaks not to forbid, but to calm an anxious heart. If you marry, you do well; only do not let the search consume you as though God needed to be forced by your urgency. Instead, live chastely and attend to the Scriptures, that your soul may be strong and your judgment clear. When the season is right, look for a woman who fears the Lord, whose character is adorned with modesty and godliness, not one merely quick with passing affection. Remember that a marriage is blessed not by sudden signs, but by two lives yielding to one another in the fear of Christ.

I will indeed pray that God sends you a prudent and faithful wife, and that He orders practical circumstances so that you may meet and grow in friendship. But I pray still more that He grants you the greater miracle: a heart that seeks first His kingdom, able to wait without despair and to love without selfishness. May the Lord make straight your path, and may He himself be your portion until every good desire is fulfilled according to His will.
