We lift your heartfelt request to our Heavenly Father, seeking His perfect will for your life in the name of Jesus Christ. We rejoice that you have called upon the name of the Lord, for it is written, "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13). There is no other name by which we can approach God, and we are grateful that you recognize Jesus as the foundation of your prayer.
Father God, we come before You with this dear brother’s desire to meet a godly woman whom You have prepared for him. We pray that You would lead him to a woman who loves You with all her heart, soul, and mind, and who is committed to walking in Your ways. Lord, we ask that You bring them together in Your perfect timing, not according to the world’s standards, but according to Your divine plan. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). May this brother’s heart be aligned with Yours, so that his desires reflect Your will.
We also pray that You would prepare his heart for the sacred covenant of marriage, which You established as a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman. "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife. They shall be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24). Lord, guard his heart from the temptations of this world, including the sin of fornication, which Your Word clearly warns against. "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). May he honor You with his body and wait for the wife You have for him.
Father, we ask that You open practical doors for this brother to meet the woman You have chosen for him. Remove any obstacles that may stand in the way of their meeting, and give him wisdom in how to pursue a godly courtship that honors You. May their relationship be built on a foundation of faith, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to serving You. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). We pray that the woman You bring into his life will be a fellow believer, strong in her faith and devoted to You.
Lord, we also ask that You work miracles in his life, not for selfish gain, but for Your glory. May Your power be evident in every area of his life, drawing him closer to You and preparing him for the blessings You have in store. "Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us" (Ephesians 3:20). May he trust in Your timing and Your plan, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in him.
We rebuke any spirit of loneliness, impatience, or doubt that may try to take root in his heart. We declare that he is not alone, for You are with him always. "Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9). We pray that he would find his identity and worth in You alone, and that he would wait patiently for Your best.
Father, we ask that You bless this brother with wisdom, discernment, and a heart that seeks You above all else. May he grow in his relationship with You each day, so that when the time comes for him to meet his future wife, he will be the godly man You have called him to be. We pray that their marriage would be a testimony to Your love and grace, and that it would bring glory to Your name.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
