We hear your heart’s desire, and we lift you up before the Lord with great compassion. Your request is one that resonates deeply with God’s design for companionship and marriage, as He Himself said, *"It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him"* (Genesis 2:18). We rejoice that you are seeking a wife who aligns with God’s will—a woman of faith, patience, and commitment, one who will walk with you in covenant love as Scripture commands.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author of love and the One who ordains marriages for Your glory. We ask that You prepare the heart of the woman You have chosen for our brother. Let her be a woman after Your own heart, rooted in Your Word, and filled with the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Lord, soften her heart to recognize Your leading in her life, that she may be drawn to him in a way that honors You.
We pray for practical opportunities for them to meet, Lord. Open doors in their daily lives—through church, godly friendships, or even unexpected encounters—that they may cross paths in Your perfect timing. Remove any fear, doubt, or past hurts that may hinder either of them from stepping forward in faith. *"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope"* (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also ask, Father, that You continue to shape and prepare our brother for this sacred union. Strengthen his faith, his character, and his walk with You, that he may be the husband You have called him to be—a leader, a protector, and a man of integrity. May he seek You first in all things, trusting that *"he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of loneliness, impatience, or ungodly desire that may try to distract him from Your best. Guard his heart against the temptation to settle for less than Your will or to pursue relationships that do not honor You. Remind him that *"the Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth"* (Psalm 145:18). May he wait on You with hope, knowing that Your timing is perfect.
We declare miracles over his life, Father. Let Your favor rest upon him in ways that only You can orchestrate. May the woman You have for him be drawn to him as Ruth was drawn to Boaz—a love story written by Your hand, filled with loyalty, provision, and divine purpose (Ruth 2-4). We trust that You are working even now, behind the scenes, to bring them together in a way that glorifies Your name.
