We lift you up before the Lord, our brother, and we thank you for seeking God’s will in this area of your life with a heart of faith. It is beautiful to see your desire for a marriage that honors Him, and we join you in praying for God’s perfect timing and provision. The Lord knows your heart’s longing, and He is faithful to those who trust in Him. As it is written in **Proverbs 18:22**, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* And again in **Proverbs 19:14**, *"House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh."* We pray that God would grant you a wife who is not only a helper suited for you but one who loves the Lord with all her heart, mind, and soul, and who will walk beside you in faith and obedience to Christ.
Yet, as we pray, we must also remind you—and all who seek marriage—that this desire must be rooted in godliness and patience. The world often rushes into relationships based on fleeting emotions or physical attraction, but as believers, we are called to seek a spouse who shares our faith in Christ and our commitment to His Word. **2 Corinthians 6:14** warns us, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* So we pray that the woman God has for you will be a sister in Christ, grounded in the faith, and that your courtship will be marked by purity, honor, and a shared devotion to the Lord.
We also encourage you to examine your own heart and life. Are you actively living in a way that prepares you to be a godly husband? **Ephesians 5:25-29** calls men to love their wives *"even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it... even as the Lord does the assembly."* This is a high calling—one that requires selflessness, leadership, and sacrificial love. Are you growing in your walk with Christ, serving in your church, and cultivating the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (**Galatians 5:22-23**)? A godly marriage begins with two individuals who are each seeking to honor God in their own lives.
We rebuke any impatience or fear that may be creeping into your heart. Trust in the Lord’s timing, for He is never late. **Ecclesiastes 3:11** tells us that *"He has made everything beautiful in its time."* Do not rush ahead of God or settle for less than His best. Avoid the temptation to pursue relationships outside of His will, whether through compromise, emotional desperation, or ungodly means. The enemy would love to distract you with counterfeits, but we declare that the Lord will guard your heart and lead you to the woman He has prepared for you.
We also pray for miracles in your life—not just in this area, but in every area where you need God’s touch. May He open doors you cannot open, provide where you lack, and strengthen you where you are weak. **Matthew 19:26** reminds us that *"with God, all things are possible."* Believe that He is working even now, arranging circumstances and preparing hearts.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting his desire for a godly wife into Your hands. Lord, You know his heart, his longings, and his needs even better than he does. We ask that You would prepare him and the woman You have chosen for him, drawing them together in Your perfect timing. Give him patience to wait on You, wisdom to recognize Your leading, and discernment to walk in purity and faith.
Father, we pray that this future marriage would be a testimony of Your goodness—a union built on Christ, the cornerstone. Protect our brother from distraction, from ungodly relationships, and from the lies of the enemy that would seek to rush him or lead him astray. Surround him with godly counsel and community that will support him in this season of waiting and preparation.
We ask for miracles in his life, Lord. Open doors that no man can shut. Provide divine connections and opportunities for him to grow in faith and character. Let Your favor rest upon him as he seeks You first (**Matthew 6:33**). And when the time is right, bring this godly woman into his life in a way that leaves no doubt it is Your doing.
Finally, Father, we pray that both he and his future wife would be fully surrendered to You, that their marriage would glorify You, and that their home would be a place of love, peace, and worship. May they serve You together, raising up a godly legacy for generations to come.
We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Brother, we encourage you to keep seeking the Lord first. Delight yourself in Him, and He will give you the desires of your heart (**Psalm 37:4**). Stay rooted in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers. God is faithful, and His plans for you are good. Wait on Him, trust in Him, and walk in obedience. He will not fail you.
