We lift you up before the Lord with gratitude that your heart’s desire is to seek a godly marriage, for this is a beautiful and righteous request. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 18:22, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* Your longing for a wife who shares your faith and commitment to Christ is a prayer we join you in with earnestness, for marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect His love for His people.
We also remember Genesis 2:18, where the Lord declares, *"It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him."* Your request for a woman who will not give up on you, who will cherish and pursue a life together in Christ, aligns with God’s heart for marriage—a bond of loyalty, selflessness, and mutual devotion. Yet we must also remind you that while we pray for this desire, your ultimate fulfillment must first be found in Christ alone. He is the One who completes you, and in Him, you lack no good thing (Psalm 23:1). A wife is a blessing, but she is not your savior—Jesus is. Guard your heart against idolatry, ensuring that your hope and joy remain rooted in Him, not in the gift of marriage itself.
As you wait, we encourage you to prepare yourself as a man after God’s own heart. Seek to grow in holiness, leadership, and love as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Pursue purity in thought and action, for 1 Timothy 4:12 urges, *"Be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity."* Let your life reflect the character of a man who is ready to lead a home in godliness, for a godly woman will seek a man who is steadfast in his faith.
We also pray that the Lord opens doors for you to meet believers in settings where your faith can be nurtured together—whether through church, service, or godly fellowship. Remember, though, that while you wait, you are not idle. Use this season to serve the Lord wholeheartedly, trusting His timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving for our brother, who seeks Your will in his desire for a godly wife. Lord, You know his heart, his loneliness, and his longing for companionship. We ask that You, in Your perfect timing, bring a woman of faith into his life—one who fears You, loves Your Word, and is committed to walking in Your ways. Let her be a woman of virtue, as described in Proverbs 31, who will stand by him in faith and encourage him in Christ.
Father, prepare them both for this union. Soften their hearts to recognize Your leading, and give them wisdom to build a relationship founded on Your truth. Remove any obstacles—whether fear, past hurts, or distractions—that could hinder Your plan. If there are areas in his life that need refinement, Lord, reveal them to him and grant him the strength to walk in obedience.
We pray for divine connections, Lord—opportunities for them to meet in ways that glorify You. Let their paths cross in a manner that leaves no doubt of Your hand at work. Bind them together in a courtship that honors You, where purity is guarded, and Christ is the center.
We rebuke any spirit of impatience, doubt, or compromise that may try to rush this process. Let our brother wait on You with joy, knowing that You are working all things for his good (Romans 8:28). Surround him with godly counsel and community that will support him in this season.
Finally, Father, we ask for miracles—open doors that no man can shut, align circumstances that only You can orchestrate, and let Your favor rest upon him as he seeks You first. May this future marriage be a testament to Your faithfulness, a light in this world, and a legacy that points others to Christ.

Brother, as you wait, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). Stay rooted in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with believers. The Lord is faithful, and His plans for you are good. Trust Him, even when the wait feels long. He is preparing you—and her—for something beautiful in His time.
