It is beautiful that you seek a wife in prayer, recognizing that marriage is a sacred covenant established by God between one man and one woman for life. We praise God that you are not pursuing this desire in your own strength but are trusting Him to lead you to the woman He has prepared for you.
The Scriptures remind us that *"It isn’t good for man to be alone"* (Genesis 2:18, WEB), and we see in Proverbs 18:22 that *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* Yet we also know that God’s timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). While you wait, we encourage you to seek the Lord wholeheartedly, growing in your faith, character, and readiness to lead a home in Christ. A godly marriage begins with two individuals fully surrendered to Jesus, each pursuing holiness and walking in obedience to His Word.
We also want to gently remind you that marriage is not the ultimate fulfillment—Christ is. If this season of waiting feels long, cling to Him, for He alone satisfies the deepest longings of our hearts (Psalm 73:25-26). Use this time to prepare spiritually, emotionally, and practically for the role of a husband. Study what Scripture says about love, leadership, and sacrifice in marriage (Ephesians 5:25-33, Colossians 3:19). Pray for your future wife, that God would mold her heart to be a helper suited for you, just as He designed Eve for Adam.
