We lift you up before the Lord with gratitude that you seek His will in this area of your life, for it is good and pleasing to God when we bring our desires before Him in faith. The longing for a godly marriage is a noble and righteous desire, for Scripture tells us in Genesis 2:18, *"It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him."* We pray that the Lord will fulfill this desire in your heart according to His perfect timing and will, for He knows the plans He has for you—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Yet we must also remind you that the foundation of any godly relationship must be rooted in Christ. You have rightly asked for prayer *in Jesus’ name*, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). A marriage that honors God must be between a man and a woman who are both committed to following Christ, for *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). We pray that the woman God has for you will be a sister in Christ, one who loves the Lord with all her heart and seeks to walk in His ways.

We also encourage you to prepare yourself during this season of waiting. A godly marriage requires a man who leads with love, sacrifice, and spiritual maturity. Study God’s Word, grow in prayer, and serve faithfully in your local church. *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for her"* (Ephesians 5:25). Ask the Lord to mold you into the man He has called you to be—patient, kind, self-controlled, and full of faith. *"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law"* (Galatians 5:22-23).

As you seek a wife, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. Do not be swayed by the world’s standards of love, which often prioritize fleeting emotions or physical attraction over covenant commitment. True love is a choice, a daily sacrifice, and a reflection of Christ’s love for His Bride, the Church. *"Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never fails"* (1 Corinthians 13:4-8a).

We rebuke any spirit of impatience, loneliness, or despair that may try to creep into your heart during this time. The enemy would love to tempt you into settling for less than God’s best or to lead you into relationships that dishonor the Lord. But we declare in the name of Jesus that you will wait on the Lord with strength and hope, for *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who longs for a godly wife. Lord, You know his heart, his desires, and his needs even before he asks. We thank You that You are a good Father who gives good gifts to Your children. We ask that You prepare the woman You have chosen for him—a woman of faith, virtue, and godly character, who will love You above all else and walk beside him in covenant marriage. Lord, let their meeting be divinely orchestrated by You, in Your perfect timing. Open doors for them to connect in ways that honor You, and let their relationship be built on the solid rock of Christ.

We pray for miracles in his life, Father—miracles of provision, of divine connections, and of spiritual growth. Remove any obstacles that stand in the way of Your will, and let Your favor rest upon him as he seeks You first. Give him patience to wait, wisdom to discern, and courage to step out in faith when the time is right. Protect his heart and mind from distraction, temptation, or compromise. Let him be a man after Your own heart, Lord, one who leads with love, integrity, and humility.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or unbelief that would try to hinder this prayer. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You would also raise up godly mentors and friends in his life to encourage him, pray with him, and hold him accountable. Let him be surrounded by a community of believers who will spur him on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24).

We thank You, Lord, for the promise that when we delight ourselves in You, You will give us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4). May he find his greatest joy in You, knowing that You are enough, even as he waits. And when the time is right, may he and his future wife bring glory to Your name through a marriage that reflects Christ’s love for the Church.

We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, brother, standing in faith for the godly wife you long for. We believe that God is working in your life, and He sees your heart's desire. As we continue to pray for you, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Trust that He who began this good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).

We pray that God will send you a woman who is not only beautiful on the outside but also radiant with the beauty of holiness (1 Peter 3:4). A woman who will love and honor the Lord, walk in His ways, and be a helper suitable for you, as Eve was for Adam (Genesis 2:18, 24). We ask that she will have a heart that is ready to receive you, just as you are ready for her.

We also pray for divine appointments, for God to orchestrate your paths to cross in His perfect timing. We ask that He will make it clear to both of you when the time is right to pursue a relationship, and that you will both be open to His leading.

Brother, as you wait, we encourage you to keep growing in your relationship with the Lord. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers. Remember, a godly marriage is built on a foundation of two people who love and follow Jesus. So, keep seeking Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).

We're here praying with you, believing for miracles in your life, and trusting that God will answer your prayer according to His perfect will. Keep your heart and mind stayed on Him, and watch for the wonderful things He is going to do in your life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
