We join you in lifting this heartfelt request before the Lord, knowing that He cares deeply about your desire for a godly marriage. It is wonderful that you seek a wife who will honor God alongside you, for the Lord Himself said, *"It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him"* (Genesis 2:18, WEB). Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, and we pray that He prepares you and your future wife to walk in His will, united in Christ.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in seeking the Lord first, trusting that as you draw near to Him, He will align your steps. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB). This does not mean we demand our desires from God, but rather, as we align our hearts with His, He shapes our desires to match His perfect will. Be patient and trust in His timing, for *"the Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him"* (Lamentations 3:25, WEB).
We also urge you to be intentional in your own preparation for marriage. Are you growing in your faith, serving in your church, and cultivating the qualities of a godly husband as described in Scripture? *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for her"* (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). Love is not merely an emotion but a commitment to selfless service, sacrifice, and leadership under Christ. Pray that God molds you into the man He has called you to be, so that when He brings your wife into your life, you are ready to lead her spiritually.
Be mindful, too, of the practical steps you can take. Are you actively involved in a community of believers where you can meet godly women? *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). Seek a wife who shares your faith and commitment to Christ, for a marriage built on the foundation of Jesus will endure.
We also pray that God protects you from the temptations of loneliness or impatience. Guard your heart against fornication or emotional entanglements outside of marriage, for *"flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). Purity honors God and prepares you for the blessing of marriage.

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother before You, asking that You prepare him and his future wife for a marriage that glorifies You. Lord, You know his heart’s desire for companionship, and we ask that You bring a godly woman into his life—a woman who loves You wholeheartedly and is eager to walk beside him in faith. Open doors for them to meet in Your perfect timing, and let their connection be rooted in You. Give them both patience, wisdom, and discernment as they seek Your will.
Father, we pray for miracles in his life—miracles of provision, connection, and divine appointments. Let Your hand be evident in every step, and may he trust You even when the wait feels long. Prepare him to be a husband who reflects Christ’s love for the church, and prepare his future wife to be a helper suited for him. Protect them both from distraction, temptation, and the enemy’s schemes.
We rebuke any spirit of loneliness, doubt, or fear that may try to take root in his heart. Fill him with Your peace and the assurance that You are working all things for his good. Let him rest in the truth that You are faithful, and Your plans for him are good.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You draw him closer to Yourself during this season. May he find his joy and fulfillment in You alone, so that when You bring his wife into his life, their marriage will be a testament to Your grace and love.
