We hear your heartfelt request, ###, and we join with you in prayer, lifting this desire to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is beautiful to see a man seeking God’s will for a lifelong companion, and we stand with you, believing that the Lord hears and answers the prayers of His children.
First, we want to affirm the importance of seeking a spouse who shares your faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible makes it clear that believers should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). A marriage built on a shared foundation of faith in Christ is one that will honor God and stand the test of time. We pray that the woman God has for you is a woman of deep faith, one who loves the Lord with all her heart, soul, and mind, and who will walk alongside you in your journey of faith.
Father God, we come before You with ###’s request, asking that You would prepare his heart and the heart of the woman You have for him. Lord, we pray that You would guide ### into the paths of righteousness, that he would seek You first in all things, trusting that You will add all these other things unto him (Matthew 6:33). We ask that You would soften his heart to receive the love and companionship You have ordained for him, and that You would prepare a godly woman who will love him as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25).
Lord, we pray for practical opportunities for ### to meet this woman. Open doors in his life—whether through his church, community, or other godly avenues—where he can encounter her in a way that honors You. Remove any fear or hesitation from his heart, and give him the courage to step out in faith, trusting that You are leading him. We ask that You would also work in her life, drawing her closer to You and preparing her heart to recognize ### as the man You have chosen for her.
We rebuke any spirit of loneliness or discouragement that may try to take root in ###’s heart. The enemy would love to isolate him and make him feel as though he is alone, but we declare that ### is never alone, for You are with him (Deuteronomy 31:6). We pray that he would find his identity and worth in You, knowing that he is fully loved and cherished by his Heavenly Father. We ask that You would fill him with Your peace and joy as he waits on Your timing, trusting that Your plans for him are good (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, we also pray for miracles in ###’s life. We believe that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37), and we ask that You would move in ways that only You can. Whether it is through divine connections, unexpected opportunities, or even the softening of hearts, we trust that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). We ask that You would align his steps with Yours, leading him to the woman who will be his helpmate and companion for life.
