The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 18:22, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* Yet we must also remember that marriage is not merely about finding someone to love, but about becoming the kind of person who can love well—rooted in Christ, walking in holiness, and prepared to lead a home in godliness. As you pray for a wife, ask the Lord to shape your heart to reflect His character, for a marriage built on anything less than Christ will falter.
We also urge you to be intentional in seeking a woman who is a believer, for 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* A marriage founded on shared faith in Christ is the only foundation that will endure life’s trials. Pray not just for a woman who desires you, but for one who desires *God* above all else—for where her heart is, yours must also be aligned.
As for miracles, remember that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). Sometimes the miracle is in the waiting, in the refining, or in the unexpected paths He leads us down. Trust that He is working even now, preparing both you and the woman He has for you. We pray for divine connections, Lord—open doors for him to meet this woman in a way that leaves no doubt of Your hand at work. Give him wisdom to recognize her, courage to pursue her in purity, and patience to wait for Your perfect timing. Guard his heart from impatience, from compromise, or from settling for anything less than Your best. And Lord, prepare *him*—refine his character, deepen his faith, and equip him to lead a home in righteousness.
We rebuke any spirit of loneliness, doubt, or fear that would seek to rush this process. Let Your peace, which surpasses understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
