We hear your heart’s longing, and we lift this desire before the Lord with great hope and expectation. The desire for marriage is a good and godly one, for Scripture tells us, *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22). Yet we know that this longing must be surrendered to God’s perfect timing and will, for His plans are always higher than our own (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who makes all things possible. We ask that You would prepare the heart of the woman You have for our brother. Let her be a woman of faith, virtue, and godly character, one who loves You above all else. *"Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised"* (Proverbs 31:30). May she be patient, kind, and steadfast, willing to wait on Your timing as she seeks Your will for her life.
Lord, we pray that You would open practical doors for them to meet in ways that honor You. Remove any obstacles, fears, or past hurts that may hinder this connection. Give our brother wisdom in how to pursue a godly courtship, one that is pure and intentional, with marriage as the ultimate goal. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). May their relationship be built on holiness, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to Christ.
We also ask that You would soften his heart to receive this woman when she comes. Let him recognize her as Your gift, and may he be the man You have called him to be—a leader, a protector, and a lover of her soul. *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it"* (Ephesians 5:25).
Father, we declare that miracles will happen in his life, for nothing is impossible with You (Luke 1:37). We trust that You will bring them together in Your perfect timing, and that their union will be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Until then, fill him with peace, patience, and unwavering faith in Your promises.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
