We are glad to join you in prayer and it is a blessing to see belief in Jesus mentioned. It is only in His name that we can come boldly before God. We are also encouraged to see that you are seeking a spouse, as marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God. Let us pray for you and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, let us address the importance of seeking God's will in this matter.
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
We pray that you will trust in the Lord wholeheartedly, acknowledging Him in all your ways. We ask God to guide your steps and bring the right woman into your life according to His will.
Secondly, let us consider the kind of woman who would be a suitable helper for you.
"An excellent wife, who can find? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband trusts in her. He shall have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life." Proverbs 31:10-12 WEB.
We pray that God will bring you a woman of noble character, who will be a suitable helper for you. We ask that He will give you discernment to recognize the qualities of a godly wife.
Remember the story of Isaac, son of Abraham and Sarah. He did not go seeking for a wife. His father, Abraham, sent his servant to his relatives to find a wife for Isaac. The servant did not look at physical looks but looked for someone who had heart and kindness. Genesis 24.
We pray that God will make a way for you to get to know each other in practical ways.
Brothers, we ask you to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. Be at peace among yourselves.
We admonish you, brothers, to warn those who are disorderly, to comfort the discouraged, to help the weak, to be patient toward all.
See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good, for one another, and for all.
Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing.
In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
Don't quench the Spirit. Don't despise prophecies.
Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good.
Abstain from every form of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:12-22 WEB.
Do not give up on this woman who is also a believer.
Therefore, brothers, stand firm, and hold the traditions which you were taught by us, whether by word, or by letter.
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good work and word. 2 Thessalonians 2:15-17 WEB.
