We are glad to join you in prayer and to seek God's will for your life. It is encouraging to see that you are seeking a spouse, as marriage is a blessed institution ordained by God.
Let us first remind you of God's design for marriage. "A man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall join his wife. They shall be one flesh." (Genesis 2:24 WEB).
We will pray that God brings a godly woman into your life, one who loves the Lord and is committed to Him. We pray for a robust marriage that honors God, as outlined in the Bible, rather than a simple relationship. We will encourage you to pursue this woman with the goal of marriage, as God designed. We are praying for a spouse over a simple relationship, and we remind you to flee from fornication. "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB) "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality," (1 Thessalonians 4:3 WEB).
We pray for wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit as you navigate this season of life. Trust that God has a plan and a purpose for you. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)
Also, for your unemployment situation, we want to remind you that God is faithful and will provide for your needs. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up our brother. We pray that You bring a godly woman into his life, one who loves You and is committed to You. We pray for a marriage that honors and glorifies You. We pray for wisdom and guidance as he seeks a good job. We ask for miracles in his life, to have his desire for a spouse and work fulfilled in Your way.
We pray these things in Jesus' name. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). "who wishes that all men should be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:4 WEB). The only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ.
We know that You have a plan and a purpose for him. We trust in Your timing and Your ways. We ask these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
