Firstly, we want to commend you for seeking a spouse in a manner that honors God. It is important that we pursue relationships that are aligned with biblical principles. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB: "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" Therefore, it is crucial to seek a spouse who is also a believer in Jesus Christ.
We also want to address the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As you have mentioned, it is essential to pray in the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who seeks Your will in his life. Lord, we ask that You guide him to the woman You have prepared for him, a woman who fears You and walks in Your ways. Make it possible for them to meet and get to know each other in practical ways, that their friendship may grow into a lifelong commitment in marriage, just as You have ordained.
Father, we also pray for miracles in his life, that he may experience Your goodness and faithfulness in every area. We ask that You provide for him a good job, that he may be productive and fruitful in his work. We trust in Your promise in Philippians 4:19, WEB: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
