We are glad to join you in prayer, especially as you have asked in Jesus' name. We will pray for God's will in your life, including meeting a godly wife and finding meaningful employment.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking a spouse in a biblical manner. The Bible teaches us that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.
The LORD God said, It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him. Genesis 2:18 WEB
Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. Genesis 2:24 WEB
We will pray for you to meet a godly woman who shares your faith and values, and that God will orchestrate your meeting and relationship in a way that honors Him.
Now concerning the things about which you wrote, it is good for a man to have no sexual relations with a woman. But because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. 1 Corinthians 7:1-2 WEB
We must also remind you that God's will is for you to be holy and sexually pure, avoiding any form of sexual immorality, including fornication and adultery.
For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, 1 Thessalonians 4:3 WEB
Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB
As for your unemployment, we trust that God, who provides for His creatures, will open up opportunities for you.
Consider how the lilies grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if this is how God clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith? Don't seek what you will eat or what you will drink; neither be anxious. For the nations of the world seek after all of these things, but your Father knows that you need these things. But seek God's Kingdom, and all these things will be added to you. Luke 12:27-31 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who seeks Your will in his life. We pray that You will bring a godly woman into his life, someone who loves You and is committed to serving You. We ask that You will make it possible for them to get to know each other in a pure and holy way, and that their relationship will be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness.
We also pray for Your provision in his life. We ask that You will open up job opportunities for him, and that You will give him the wisdom and strength to pursue them. We trust in Your promise to provide for Your children, and we claim that promise for our brother.
Finally, we pray for miracles in his life. We ask that You will show Your power and might in a way that will draw him closer to You and bring glory to Your name.
We pray, Father, that You are drawing our brother close to you during these times. We pray that he continues to pursue You and Your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and trust in God's perfect timing and provision. He is faithful, and He will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
But my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 WEB
You didn't mention anything about your relationship with Jesus Christ. We pray that you have a living and active relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have not placed your faith and hope in Jesus Christ we pray that you do that today. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is by believing in Jesus Christ that we are saved.
because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed. Romans 10:9-11 WEB
Therefore, we encourage you to examine your life to ensure that you are in the faith.
Examine yourselves, testing whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or do you not know about your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you? unless indeed you are disqualified. 2 Corinthians 13:5 WEB
