We join together with you in bringing this request before the Lord as you wait for your job results in the first week of September 2026. We understand how heavy the waiting can feel and how much hope you place in this opportunity, and we want to lift this burden with you to our Heavenly Father.
We are reminded that God cares about our daily work and provision, and He calls us to commit our plans to Him. Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. And Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We encourage you during this waiting time to continue to seek Him first, trusting that He knows what is best for you. Matthew 6:33 says But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Jeremiah 29:11 also comforts us, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Whether this specific job is His will for you or He has another path prepared, we trust His thoughts toward you are for peace and hope. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We also noticed your prayer mentioned God Almighty but did not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To be blessed by God Almighty in the fullest sense is to know His forgiveness and eternal life through His Son. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ not only for this job but for your whole life, knowing He died for our sins and rose again so we can be reconciled to God.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one to You. You know the job they have applied for and the results they await in September. We ask for Your will to be done in this situation. If this job is according to Your perfect plan for their life, we pray You would open the door and grant favor with those making the decision. If not, we pray You would close this door gently and lead them to the good work You have prepared for them. Grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait, guarding their heart from anxiety and filling them with trust in Your goodness. Help them to use this time to grow in faith, to seek Your kingdom first, and to work heartily as unto You wherever You place them. We ask that You draw them closer to Jesus and bless them according to Your abundant grace. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

Your request concerning the employment for which you wait, with results expected in the first week of September 2026, has been brought before the Lord with thankfulness that you would seek His hand in this matter.
You do well to ask prayer, but I would earnestly exhort you not to let anxiety unfit you for the very trial through which you are passing. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To be in a great hurry to do something does more mischief than could happen if you had kept still, resting in the Lord and waiting patiently for Him. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Make your refuge in the shadow of His wings until these calamities be overpast, and there wait in hope.
Learn the lesson of patient Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. When all was taken from him he yet said, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. This is the faith for you to hold at this time. You are not to trust Him after you have received the favourable answer and felt secure, you are to trust Him for this very thing now. As one sought a physician not when he felt well but when diseased, so come to Christ just as you are, waiting upon Him. Only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim. They that know His name will put their trust in Him.
There is a waiting God who waits to be gracious, and there is a waiting people who wait upon Him. Waiting upon God is the way to renew your strength until you mount up with eagles wings. It makes the soul grow small in its own esteem and the world with all its affairs to be seen in its real littleness, while Christ grows great and His faithfulness sure. Whether the post be granted or withheld, let your heart be strengthened to say, It is the Lord, let Him do what seems good to Him.
Let us pray together. O merciful God, be merciful unto this waiting soul. Thou knowest the desire for honest labour and daily bread, and the longing for this good employment. If it be for good and for Thy glory, grant it in Thy kindness and open this door in September according to Thy perfect will. If otherwise, withhold what would not profit and give contentment and a better provision from Thine own hand. Forgive sin, wash in the blood of Thy Son Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and give faith to trust Him wholly, not upon feelings but upon His gracious promise to pardon and to save all who trust Him. Turn, we beseech Thee, all waiting into blessing, and cause this heart to know Thy love more fully through this trial. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
